My recent stay at OYO 645 Ljenj Aprtelle, booked through Agoda, fell significantly short of expectations. Upon arrival, the room assigned to me exhibited concerning hygiene issues, including the presence of apparent mold/asbestos. Photographic evidence of this has been uploaded to a separate Google review for reference. Additionally, basic amenities such as towels, soap, and toilet paper were absent and required a request from the sole staff member on duty. This only staff member appeared to be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including reception, security, cleaning, and potentially others. Their behavior raised concerns, as they placed me in a room directly adjacent to their makeshift sleeping quarters. Furthermore, the internet connection was unreliable, and the property experienced daily power and water outages. A particularly troubling incident occurred when I briefly left my room for 10 minute unlocked for a necessary errand, since I trusted the only worker and person presence during the time I left I did not realize he was plotting all along. Upon returning, I discovered a significant amount of cash missing from a hidden compartment within my passport, he thought I was rich and I would not catch his deviant ways . While I cannot definitively attribute this to the only staff member, the timing and their unusual work arrangement (seemingly never sleeping, missing teeth) warrant suspicion. He was on drugs! He made me felt like we were family but he treated me like another stupid westerners who is rich, which I am not! I am a frugal backpacker who likes to travel with little money to spend. Observations: A lack of positive reviews from Westerners and Filipino-American guests on booking platforms suggests a potential pattern of targeting specific demographics. The hotel's disclaimer regarding missing belongings raises questions about their accountability for guest property security. Recommendations: Given the potential safety hazards and the alleged theft incident, a thorough investigation by Agoda into this property is strongly recommended. Travelers, particularly those of Filipino-American descent, should exercise extreme caution when considering this hotel and thoroughly research alternative accommodations. Conclusion: This experience at OYO 645 was deeply disappointing, especially as it marked my first return trip to the Philippines since the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the aforementioned concerns, I cannot recommend this establishment to others.

My concern is about the caretaker (boy)he ask me to pay 100 pesos because our check in time is 2 pm,we arrived at 1:40 pm he said its not yet time we need to pay 100 pesos if we want to get inside in the room,we don't have a choice because we are very every tired so we add 100 pesos that's why we are very disappointed, then after 3 days it's check out time, exactly 11:30 we go out ,we clean the room ,wash the dishes ,sweeps the floor, then the caretaker(boy) get inside then he said we need to pay 200 pesos because the blanket has stain ,actually I have a period that time, but it's just little bit stain,if I already knew that we need to pay if there is stain in the blanket I will wash it na lang para ma save namin iyong 200 pesos.Wala na kaming choice tumawad ako sabi ko kuya wala na kaming pera baka po pwede 100 na lang, pumayag naman.Pero super na bad trip lang ako kay kuya ,pero ok lang baka sideline nya din yon.But the room and everything inside is okay. The television is not working, then the WiFi sometimes is unstable.

“DONT FOLLOW WAZE/GOOGLEMAPS”

Dont pin Oyo 645, use Alphamed Mabalacat and right across you will see GoldenLand Subdivision. Drive inside and to the right you will see Oyo 645. Property is near the subdivision gate, just look to your right, hard to miss. Dont even try to pin GoldenLand. TRUST ME. You will drive to an offbeaten path of squatters area where a full sedan cannot fit if you go against this tip.

The number to the property here cannot be called. The caretaker is nice though. Property owner should contact googlemaps and waze to fix navigation to this property.

Overall, the room is nice. Full apartelle. Has a small kitchen, big refrigerator, dining table, couch, laundry area and a bedroom. Aircon is cold and there is a hot shower. We booked this for Aurora Festival and its just less than 7kms away from...
