The Modern Hapag Kainan — Restaurant in Mabalacat

I recently visited The Modern Hapag Kainan along McArthur Highway, Mabalacat City, and it really impressed me. The place has a clean, modern Filipino ambiance that feels both cozy and inviting.

Their pancit was flavorful and perfectly cooked — simple yet satisfying. The live bands at night add a fun, relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a long day. The waitresses were friendly and attentive, always making sure guests were comfortable.

I am curious as to how this place was before the pandemic. I guess it’s teeming with life thirsty for ice cold beer and hungry for sumptuous Filipino food. The food is good! We have a small class reunion. We order 2 family meals and worth P5,400 only. Then the bill came! Be careful, they gave you food you didnt order! They give you drinks you did not order! The checks came, and doesnt give you any list of your order, just a receipt saying total! Never recomemend this place!
