Location & Facilities: Perfectly situated right on the beach, this resort offers a picturesque setting for your stay in CDO. The centerpiece is their impressive swimming pool, which is larger than most resort pools in the area. The grounds are well-maintained and provide a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms: We stayed in a spacious room (305) that was notably clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. However, there's a maintenance issue with some room doors (noticed in 305 and 304) where warping has created security concerns - something management should address promptly. Dining: The restaurant offers a mixed culinary experience. The grilled squid was exceptional and definitely worth trying! However, the burger was rather basic, and early risers should note that the cafe doesn't open until 11am, which might be inconvenient if you need your morning coffee fix. Staff & Service: The resort staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and attentiveness. They're always ready to help with a smile. Booking Tip: Here's a money-saving hack: book online instead of directly with the resort. We paid 2,200 PHP through an online platform, while the direct booking rate was quoted at 5,000-6,000 PHP for the same room type. Overall Value: When booked at the online rate, this resort offers good value for money. While there are some areas for improvement (door maintenance, earlier cafe hours, and some menu items), the beautiful location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff make for an enjoyable stay. Best for: Beach lovers, families, and travelers looking for a spacious resort with good amenities who don't mind a few minor inconveniences

Our family from Europe , Manila and Bukidnon came here to celebrate our father’s birthday. We were looking forward to celebrate this in a nice setting in a beach resort. We were shocked that we were not able to sit outside at one of the terraces. They gave us the ugliest indoor room with no ambiance, no view and terrible lighting 😫 Our party was until 10pm . When we ordered drinks at 9.10 pm they told us the bar is closed 😫 no body informed us , this is not acceptable. We were told to buy drinks outside the resort and bring it in . So we did , but suddenly we had to pay 200 pesos for each bottle of beer we bought ( for 130 Pesos) They did not mention we had to pay extra for our own drinks because they closed the bar 1 hour before the party was finished. The most frustrating thing was that the nice outdoor terrace was not used the whole evening and we had to stay in a terrible room 😫

One needs to dig deep for patience because food service is mysteriously delayed. If you wish to eat at 7AM, you must start ordering for breakfast at 6AM, unless the restaurant offers buffet, which is not always. Plated meals take a loooooong time to get served, and once placed on the table, they're cold and need re-heating. Think of ordering a second cup of rice? Order the extras together with the main course to avoid the tedious waiting. With regard to the service staff, they're all sweetly kind, apologetic (which I believe they shouldn't because cooking is not in their department; yet only serve the cooked meals); hospitable and courteous. Going to the accommodation, the hotel needs to oil the sliding doors because it would take Herculean muscles flexing to be able to open the glass doors leading to the balcony. The balcony is a plus thing, overlooking the swimming pool. The negative side to this is that the shouts and noise from the pool area can be heard at all random hours of the day and night. Considering my accommodation, the room has no ref, which is most inconvenient, and staff only supplied complimentary bottled water when I checked in, no more refills. Since there is no thermos for hot water, nor a water heater for just that cozy and quiet afternoon tea, guests have to go down to the rresto which is a good distance from the rooms. As to accessibility, I wonder how wheelchair-bound guests get to the second and third floors. In regard to the lobby, it is somber and sad. The convenience store located at the lobby is unmanned, thus one must wait for staff to call the person on duty to attend anyone who wishes to patronize the products there. Parking is available. The place though has no convenience stores within walking distance if the urge to buy something catches you. The prize posted by this hotel is not commensurate to what one may naturally expect. Meaning, there are hotels of similar price range that offer...

I booked two rooms with their cheapest offer, which were both on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It was fine with us, especially since the view from the top was nice. But one of the rooms, Room 303, didn’t have a working aircon, while the other one, Room 304, was extremely cold. We reported that Room 303 was really hot like, you'd actually start sweating inside. Someone came to fix it, so we went downstairs to swim but when we got back, it was still hot, so we reported it again, and they tried fixing it again. This time, we went out for dinner but when we came back, it was still just as hot. We called again, and they said they already fixed it and had already replaced a part but the problem it's still not working. So we told them it was still hot and asked to be moved to another room. The front desk said there were no more rooms available on the 3rd floor, and if we wanted to move to a lower floor, we’d have to pay an extra ₱1,200. That’s when I got angry because, first of all, it wasn’t our fault that the aircon was broken, and it’s not our problem if they don’t have another available room at the same rate. Four hours had passed and the aircon still wasn’t working, so the room was basically wasted. They should have taken the initiative to move us without asking for any money especially since this situation caused a lot of inconvenience to our vacation. But the way the front desk said it, it was like: "Either you stay in the hot room or pay extra if you want another room with an aircon." So what I did I asked for a full refund if they couldn’t do anything about it we'll just go home and then thats the only time they agree to transfer us to another room without additional payment. This hotel is unbelievable. If you don’t complain or get angry, they won’t do anything. The problem was clearly on their end, and yet they acted like it was our responsibility to...

Trinkgeld. Also sehr nah.
