My family and I came from Tinuy-an Falls and my brother's tired to drive home. We are not familiar with the place so we asked the locals their recommendation.||My parents stayed in what looked like a superior room while my brother, his family, and I stayed in a dorm-style room.||The superior room looked okay but the bathroom, despite having a bathtub, looked untidy because you can see rust everywhere.||The bed was comfortable, the LED TV has cable but the aircon wasn't cold enough.||As for the dorm-style room, the bed was uncomfortable but the aircon was cool enough for the seven of us.||Our door can't be locked because the doorknob is broken. And in the middle of the night, we experienced blackout for more than an hour.||The food was decent but it was expensive. Tocilog with coffee and banana cost P145 for a minimal serving while the American Breakfast consisted of toasts, spam, eggs, coffee, and banana cost P165.||Their complimentary soap is so small that you can only use it once. There was no complimentary shampoo however they sell local shampoo for 7 pesos.||Overall, if there is a much a better place to stay in, Paper Country Inn wouldn't be my...

Staff were all very friendly and the hotel had security at the entrance.|The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was hot water when ever we needed it.|We were in the middle of a birdwatching tour and had 5 days laundry done - it took 2 days (possibly because of rain on first day) but everything was brought back fresh and spotlessly clean.|We were leaving very early every morning but hot drinks were available and a packed breakfast was arranged from a local restaurant. There are drinking water dispensers on each floor.||Our 2nd night here was valentines day - a big celebration in the Philippines and the hotel arranged flowers and covered the bed in rose petals.||The linen and towels were changed once during our stay, room made up on request. Only minor niggle was the shower where water could escape into the bathroom if the curtain was not...
Read morePaper Country Inn is one of the good hotels in Bislig and I think one of the most expensive. :) It is an old hotel but the place is clean, they have maintained cleanliness. They have 3 floors and also has a canteen. Food is a bit costly tho. Initially, I booked a matrimonial room but when I checked, the windows when I got inside the room since I was alone, windows weren't locked. So I tried to lock but one window cannot be locked. There was a terrace so I was afraid. Requested to change room instead. After 2nd request, they agreed. The next room still had no locks but at least no terrace nearby. Aircon was okay. Hot shower was functioning. A good place to stay. If you have gadgets, make sure, it is 2-prong but they have adaptors their for you to borrow (if available). Staff were accommodating after my 2nd attempt to transfer to a different room for security purposes. Their free...
