Parkway Hotel — Hotel in Mindanao

It was kind of a feeling where you get into the hallway of hospitals... dark, gloomy and long hallway. You get the feeling where someone will just pop out in front of you and scream and run over you.|Nonetheless, the room was clean and the bed was superb, king size bed. Breakfast was decent. I had only plated breakfast when the hotel is full they will serve buffet breakfast.|Food in the resto is good. They have wide choices and their prices are affordable and servings are big.|They have a grocery store right beside the hotel and they have also 24 hours convenience store.|It is near the airport, almost a kilometer away. But the tricycle in the airport charged me 100 pesos for a 2 minute ride. But its...

Staff is really friendly and helpful but the hotel doesn’t offer the best price quality. Paid 2800 ps for a room without any windows and not able to get cool. The outside heat was so intense that even the turbo cool mode of the AC was not enough to keep the room cool. Needed a electric fan to keep cool. Breakfast was really basic and just rice with fried animal products. No fresh juice or fruit/vegetables (besides a banana). Normally I don’t mind so much but for 2800 I expect more. The meals ordered in the restaurant were ok though. Oh, WiFi is almost not working so that’s also a minus point.

Parkway Hotel located at Surigao City is actually a very nice place to stay. It was very organized and clean, and well maintained. People there are so friendly and very well accomodating. It's only near the Center of the City, one ride of pedicab only. They also served free breakfast for an overnight stay. You can see in the photo the room which I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. I left the place messy, since I have to attend to some business matters, but I always came back with a very pleasant smell and organize place at the end of the day.
