I don’t like writing bad reviews since most places really aren’t that bad. But please trust me when I tell you that this place is not worth the hype. First and foremost our first night we were not able to use the showers since it got clogged and they would not fix it. Second, the family room that we rented (8600php) did not have a working water heater, and power outlets. The wifi that they insisted that worked, did not work. And worst of it all, there were mosquitoes everywhere in the room!!! We asked if we could get a room change due to the absurd amount of mosquitos, but they said we could not do that. The best they could do was fog our room so we had to stay out of our room for a couple hours. Even after that there were still a couple mosquitoes flying around that we had to kill ourselves. It is one of the worst hotels that I have been to here in the Philippines, and that is not an exaggeration. Please if you can, avoid this place at all cost. Bring your money elsewhere. This is for your sake. Hope ya’ll find a better hotel out there. (The photos posted is the result after they fogged the room and there were still some flying around even after the fog.)

The property itself is quiet, unassuming, and has ample parking & open air. One of the highlights for me was its convenient location, just an hour & a half away from Metro Manila. The atmosphere is relaxing, & we truly enjoyed having the pool to ourselves during our stay. As a family of 3, we found it to be a perfect retreat. Their restaurant exceeded my expectation because I really did not expect anything. What stood out the most, though, was the staff -every staff we encountered was cheerful & genuinely friendly, which made our experience even more enjoyable. There were a couple of minor drawbacks: the blankets in the room were quite thin, & we were too tired to request thicker ones. Additionally, we noticed a few mosquitoes in the room, which could be improved upon. Despite these small issues, I would absolutely love to return in the future.

This was our fourth stay at El Palacio, our favorite hotel in all of the Philippines. The property is beautiful and clean, in a quiet neighborhood within 1 hour of NAIA airport. We love the swimming pool! The staff, especially Ma’am Bens, Ma’am Carmie and Sir Edwin treat us like family, always doing anything they can to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The current restaurant Brick Wood has a wide selection of delicious food and drinks. El Palacio is our home away from home, and we will always stay here whenever we visit. Very highly recommended.

Had a great experience here for a one night stay! The thing that stood out was the staff!! All were smiling and friendly. Some that stood out: Edwin!! Very hospitable and made us feel welcomed and like long lost friends. The bar tender um.. shoot forgot his name. Made me a berry margarita which was great and took time to get to know the guest!! Plus the lady at checking; can’t remember name but was amazing!! Great smile!

Family owned hotel and the pool!! Wow, the pool!! Loved it! Lights and all!! Would ho back just for that!! The restaurant onsite was good! Especially the breakfast of French toast!! Plus it was free!!

Wish there had been tv channels in the room and the AC was in a weird spot. But huge rooms and bathrooms!! Would for sure stay again if...
