Makarios Aquafarm and Restaurant — Hotel in Nueva Valencia

The place and food is good but the staff is not that truthful. It kind of deceitful in my opinion because when we arrive we order food and sit on their restaurant. A staff offered us if we want to stay in a cottage. We agree because its kind of cool there. Then when we're on the cottage a staff told us that we would pay 1000 for it which is also consumable, so I asked if how much is the difference from our ordered food and she told us the we still have 300 to consume. So I ordered another food which is around 300+. When I took the bill I saw that our bill is around 1400, so I ask why they made us order another 3hun+ while our total order previously is 996. They told us that on top of 1000 we also have 300 consumable for the entrance in which they have not told us...

This place is not safe. I fell through their wooden bridge next to the restaurant as it is not maintained and rotting away. I am lucky I did not break my right leg. The employee informed me that a few other people have also fallen through, one of which an expecting mother. So these people know that the bridge is a problem and have not done anything to repair it. Some parts of the road to the place were a little narrow for two four-wheelers. The last part of the travel is not enjoyable but once you enter the resort, the vibe makes up for it. Surrounded by water and greens with great views up the hill, Makarios is great for relaxation.
