Avoid at All Costs – One of the Worst Hotel Experiences of My Life I travel often and rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable I feel obligated to warn others. This hotel completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing trip with my family. We were given not one, not two—but three different rooms, and every single one had serious issues. The first two rooms were full of ants, crawling across the floor and furniture. Disgusting. After complaining, we were moved to a third room. While there were no ants (yet), the problems didn’t stop: • The air conditioning barely worked, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. • Water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and the bathroom floor looked filthy. • The mini fridge didn’t even have power—completely useless. • And when I asked to speak with the owner or management, staff refused to provide any information. It’s shocking that this hotel has high ratings. Now I truly believe some businesses buy fake reviews, because nothing about our stay reflects the score it shows online. Yes, the view is beautiful—but that’s not a reason to ignore poor hygiene, broken amenities, and unresponsive management. My stay here was stressful, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. Instead of enjoying our holiday, we spent it changing rooms and chasing basic comfort. I will be reporting this hotel to Booking.com, Agoda, and other platforms. Places like this should not be allowed to operate. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind—do yourself a favor and stay far away.

We stayed at the Ging-Ging Hotel & Resort last week on vacation. The hotel was wonderfully clean, had a beautiful view of the ocean, and the staff was exceptional and hospitable. This location has a man-made cove with white pebble/coral sand, is within 10 minutes of the local food market, and is about 12 minutes away from the famous Oslob Whale Shark viewing center. It’s about $30 for a simple room for two (comes with guest kits, free WiFi, tv in the room, and a free American or Filipino breakfast), but they also have rooms for 6 and 10 (with the same amentities). They allow you to bring your own food into the dining areas and have a bar and restaurant inside. Definitely a step above other hotels and resorts in the area, and reasonably priced too. The only downside (at the time of our stay) was that the WiFi was down for a few days but the entire experience definitely trumped that minor inconvenience.

Beautiful resort!. The rooms are clean and cozy.. clean bathroom, comfortable pillows,. We stayed here overnight and the staffs are very accommodating. We got lucky because there were only few guest when we got here. They even help u dry ur clothes for free only for a few pieces. And they would personally wait outside for bus so you dont have to stand and wait under the heat after you check out. the only thing that dissappoint us is their breakfast. We ordered pork tocino and it was very bad and smelly. It looks like its not fresh at all and they just reheat it. I took a bite and its very bad i didnt finish it and just ate the scrambled egg. My boyfriend ate the pork tocino despite of its bad smell and he got stomachache after. I also had an upset stomachache but not as bad as his because he ate a lot and i only ate 1 bite. So beware of their pork tocino,. We didnt complain and just left the food.,

Convenient place to stay in in Oslob. We booked this hotel resort for 2 nights which is 30 minutes away from the whale watching area. Our room was a bit tight for 3 beds but definitely comfortable. There was a window AC which was adequate but it could have been better. It comes with toothbrushes and shampoos for 6 people. The bathroom is separate from the shower room. Hot water in the shower was great. We requested a kettle in the room but they said they don't allow this in rooms and offered to provide hot water in a cup if needed, available in the restaurant area. They are strict with stains in their linens which their orient you with as soon as you check-in on the front desk. Our room was in the ground floor right in front of the infinity pool with the jacuzzis. I love it! The pool and all areas in this place is clean and well maintained by the staff who constantly go around and greet you with a smile. The guard on duty during our stay, kuya Edic even went to help us with bringing the laundry to the laundry shop and back. Their staff are amazing. Their restaurant is right in front of the sea with 2 piers that light up at night where you could also dine. The food is ok. I think there are other places that serve better food but we didn't try eating outside because we have little ones and the restaurant is very convenient since we also swam at night. My kids enjoyed the pool very much, they swam in the morning, after noon and evening. Be sure to bring insect repellent as there is a good amount of mosquito morning and night. The only con is that they have this overflow near the infinity pool that could be dangerous to fall into for someone who doesn't pay attention. The railings that keep you from falling from the shore are a bit low and it is very easy for kids to get over it and fall. Overall, I would definitely stay in this place again and I highly recommend it. Just make sure to always keep an eye to...

We stayed at Ging Ging Hotel and Resort during our weekend Round South Trip. It is a great place to stay especially when you are with your kids and the while family.||🙋‍♀️ ACCOMMODATING & FRIENDLY STAFF|Their staff has been so accommodating and friendly. From the time we arrived until we left. They let us stay even we arrived earlier than the check in time. They let us place our food in the Bar's freezer for free.|Aside from that, they are very responsive in messenger whenever we have some queries.||🛏️ ROOM IS CLEAN AND A COMFORTABLE TO STAY|We stayed in different rooms since there are 14 of us. And yet, all rooms are clean and enough to accommodate us all. There is a TV, a little balcony and a hot & cold shower. In our room, we have a mini ref too.||⛱️ TWO SWIMMING POOLS & A BEACH|We all enjoyed a lot especially the kids because we were able to swim all we want. There are 2 swimming pools on each side. Plus the beach. You can use the pool from 8AM to 9PM.||🥂 BAR FOR FOOD & DRINKS|If you don't bring foods and won't like cooking, they have a bar where you can order from. And the rooms come with free breakfast too in the bar. We had our breakfast late so we had few options with the menu.||🏞️ AMAZING VIEW|The view is amazing and relaxing. They have a Rooftop where you can stay until 9PM.||🛣️ACCESSIBLE AND EASY TO LOCATE|The resort is just along the National road and very easy to locate. It is close to Gaisano Grand and Cuartel of Oslob.||Overall, we had a great and fun stay at Ging Ging Hotel & Resort. It is very recommendable especially if you want some quiet and relaxing place.|You can bring your own food and cook...
