PEDZ CING MANGO LODGE - 2.5 Star — Hotel in Oslob

So I arrived here on January 9, 2018. My girlfriend and I were exhausted from traveling to waterfalls all day, we just wanted to hit the bed at 7:30 pm. This hotel puts us in a room with bed bugs itching me all night! I got no sleep at all!! I used the Internet all night to find new hotels in the area. As I was looking for new hotels I can see my girlfriend itching all over in her sleep. I couldn't find any bugs as I was inspecting but something was biting us all over all night. Then as I'm looking for new hotels during the night I needed to pee. I open the door to enter the bathroom and I see a spider the size of my head trying to get in!!! No joke the biggest tarantula ever! I slammed the door and peed in an empty water bottle in the room. Haha.. I didn't end up moving to a new hotel because the room they moved me to the next day was fine. All we got was a very small discount on the room.| We decided to order the upgraded breakfast from the one included for 2/3 mornings. (380 pesos total).........There's also mosquitos everywhere because of the dirty swimming pool, and the trees and plants they have. So you will be swarmed every time you exit the room. Upon check out I told the nice man and wife that they did me wrong the first night big time and shouldn't have to pay for the upgraded breakfast. They said we will make it 300 instead of 380. I said 'no, if I pay, I'll pay the full 380 and tell tripadvisor about what happened then.' They didn't seem to care about ruining their good reviews.. They just wanted the money. Ok! So the 2 hotels on top of my list for oslob next time will be the gingging resort. I think it's a new hotel and reasonable price. The pool area looks amazing! I don't think they have a website, I just kept passing it and looking in. Also tum's resort that looks amazing with beautiful big windows looking out into the sea (had a sign for free massage) Both are ocean front. Both resorts are on the left side heading into town from mango lodge. I never checked them out but I would if I were you. Just go in and have a look, both...

we arrived around 6.30pm and we were amazed with the room. we booked deluxe room and the room was so spacious, really clean, well maintained and really cheap for a room like that. my bf even didn't believe me when i said the price cause it's beyond our expectation. we ordered dinner and the owner told us that most of the places were closed around that time so she helped to order it from another barangay.the place is indeed far from the market or other tourist destination but there's always tricycle to bring you around.||||we had our itinerary with the budget that we can find from the internet. we got the cheapest that we can find from the review. then, the owner gave us another information that we can't find in the internet. (trust me, there's no information about this in the internet) with a cheaper price so we took it. we were informed that we will be joining another guests, and we thought,, ah that's why it's cheaper. but then on the next morning, we were on the same group but different car. so me and my bf were in a private car. it was a super good price to pay. we were brought to whale shark watching, sumilon sandbar, tumalog falls and heritage park.|| then on the 4th day, we were about to go back to cebu city and we asked tita venus where to wait the bus. then she offered to go to the city with their driver, in a private car cause he will pick up another guests in the airport in cebu.when we asked the price, it's the same price with going to the city with bus. so why not? :D||||then i accidentaly left my phone in the hotel and the owner called the driver when we were 1 hour away from the hotel. they decided to bring it back to cebu on the following day since we stayed another 1 night in cebu city without additional fee.i was about to let my cellphone there (it's a 3310 nokia, so i thought okay, i should let it go, i guess) but they were willing to bring it back to the city.||||definitely will go back to this place if i go to...

We stayed at the pedz Cing mango logde for only one night for the wale shark watching. the owners helped us with questions we had considering our plan beforehand. We arrived quite late (10 pm) from Cebu by Bus and were immediately welcomed by the couple and offered flan cake and water ! Although it was already|Late, the owner (sorry I didn’t ask for the name) explained us thoroughly and patiently the options we had to get to the wale shark tour and how everything worked . Next day morning he drove us to the wale shark thing in his nice SUV and helped us with the checkin for the tour, later one he drove us to the waterfall which was surprisingly very beautiful. Definitely worth going there. Afterwards, it was still early enough to take a shower and have a nice breakfast. There is also a pool that looked really clean to us ( as opposed to a single bad review here), but we had already swam at the waterfall. |The bus back to Cebu leaves every thirty minutes directly opposite of the logde. The owners send a guy with a piece of our luggage to wait there and wave down the bus, so we didn’t have to wait in the heat. Nevertheless it was a beautiful day ,so we preferred to wait ourselves, chairs were already set up there. |In all, the biggest value of staying at pedz cing is the kindness and help of the owners, rooms were very clean, Aircon and hot water fully working...
