The Sogo hotel chain are known as 'short term' hotels, where rooms are let for periods of two hours upwards. In some areas (Ermita?) this might be for rather seedy purposes, but in general is used by Filipino coupes to get away from their families for a brief period of privacy. As such, there are times when the lobby area is full of couples waiting for rooms. At this branch, there are waiting cubicles in the lobby, which I mistakenly thought was the cafe when I arrived!||||If you're happy to overlook this, the hotel rooms are extremely good value for money and very comfortable! The groups' motto is 'So clean, So good' and they live up to this! The 'executive' room I stayed in was equipped with a safe, wifi, large bed, desk and small table. There's no restaurant, but room service is available to obtain drinks and a selection of Filipino meals at very reasonable prices.||||If you're staying for several nights, try asking for a discount. I got 10% for three nights at a different branch!||||Given the usage of the hotel, the rooms are generally quiet, though there was some noise from staff's radios as they were instructed to clean rooms etc.||||If you're prepared to overlook the usage, but want a consistently comfortable room, at a good price, and generally a central location, try it, you'll...
Read moreWe recently completed an extended stay of over a week at Sogo Hotel Novaliches, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Traveling with both a baby and a toddler means we have very high standards for cleanliness, safety, and staff support, and Sogo exceeded every expectation. The level of cleanliness in our room was consistently impeccable, which gave us great peace of mind, especially with the little ones crawling and playing. Despite the long duration of our stay, the housekeeping team was thorough and efficient, always ensuring we had fresh linens and supplies without fail. What truly set this location apart was the phenomenal staff. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and patient with our children. They helped us with special requests, such as extra towels or quick cleaning passes, and made us feel genuinely welcome and relaxed, which is a rare feat when managing a multi-day trip with very young kids. The value and comfort for a long-term stay in this location are unbeatable. Thank you to the entire Sogo Novaliches team for providing us with a clean, comfortable, and stress-free "home away from home." Highly recommended for anyone, especially families looking for reliable, long-term accommodation! Special thanks for ate Marissa (house...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my overnight stay at the Hotel Sogo in Novaliches.
Despite the good security measures at reception I had a very poor experience staying in an Executive room. Even though the room was clean it had a horrible chemical smell which made me feel sick.
The bed was too small and uncomfortable even for someone who is small in height.
The lift/elevator had a horrible smell too.
I was awoken at 7.30am by the sound of smashing glass. The walls are not sound proof. I could not get back to sleep because they played loud music on speakers in the corridor. This was not a...
