I don’t leave bad reviews, but this by far is the worst hotel in Capiz. First off they were very misleading with their photos. They have a new building with new rooms, and they have an older one, which I did NOT pick but they placed us in there anyway. The old building rooms are a mess, dirty floors, cheap interior, cheap bathroom with almost no water pressure, and no hot water at all. The doors were flimsy and cheap, the door handle had a gap in between the handle looking like it was about to fall off. A slight shove and the door could be pushed open. The fridge did not work and when it did it was only a freezer, and the tv was broke as well.
We asked to move us into the newer building, It took two days for them to put us in the new building. Finally, in the new building, the key card door didn’t work, and the maintenance guy had to give us his to use. The tv in this room didn’t work either, the room was newer though. However, they charged us for a breakfast that we never had, we didn’t eat there.
Finally, after two days in the new room, there was a massive flood in the bathroom. The bidet was flooding all over the floor. The bathroom itself has no drain pipe so the water overflowed and the floor was very slippery as it’s all tile. We were very disappointing, but they immediately put us into a new room. At this point, my wife and I were done with the resort. Not to mention in the new room, the vent is falling off in the ceiling. The hotel was very disappointing, with a manager who did try and make her stay better, but the staff does not care. On the last day as well, the restaurant across the street was blaring music, and you can feel the whole room shake. The resort she was very scammy and sleazy for putting us in the other building, which was too close to the road and two exposed with no security.
I would not recommend this resort at all. If you have to stay here, make sure you ask for the main new building.
Housekeeping never came in once in the 4 days we were there
The elevator was out as well, who knows how long it’s...
Read moreTo start off we are returning guests for many years so this review is for constructive criticism.
Let me go straight to the point. The services has dwindled down from great to horrific, I am not sure if management has changed over the past years but the management definitely dropped the ball.
To start with, we booked 2 bedrooms for our group 2 weeks ago. To our surprised we were given only 1 room as "they are fully booked"
There was no point getting upset because you can choose to get mad but they are full so no rooms can be available for us anyway.
The manager of the hotel the next day graciously gave us an upgraded room for our inconvenience. Thank you and much appreciated.
On the 17th of December 2022, My kids went to the pool at 4:45pm. After few minutes I immediately pulled them out of the water because the pool was FILTY!
it was color green and it smells! I took videos for the management team and to inform them as a concerned parent.
Spoke to GM Mrs. Diane Jane Delfin of the situation.
I wore my goggles and the water is definitely dirty! I worried for my kids and for other kids swimming in the pool.
When I spoke with the GM Diane Jane Delfin.
She indicated that the color of the pool is due to the new chemicals used however in my opinion the color of the pool is due to the dirt in the water.
I recorded the status of the water for their review and upon request.
Mrs. DELFIN further indicated that the resort clean the pool every morning. One staff mentioned before I called mrs. DELFIN said that there maybe a problem with the filter of which I believe him.
Instead if thinking about the safety of the kids on the pool, Mrs. Delfin's solution is to remove my kids out of the water for their safety. I find that very odd but ofcourse, I did remove my kids out of the water.
As a GM of the resort, I believe that Mrs.Delfin failed to ensure the safety of its guests by ignoring my concerns. It is her responsibilities as a GM to make sure the pool is...
Read moreSan Antonio is conveniently located near the airport with walkable good restaurants close by, and a 711 on the corner for grabbing water and snacks. I stayed with my family of 4, initially in one of the "superior rooms", 2 beds a desk, a tiny shower with a tiny itty bitty sink. No place to put luggage, no hangers, no plugs for charging, it was a very bare bones room. I requested an upgrade immediately and got "deluxe king" room, which was more closely resembled a typical small hotel room. While the superior room was way too small for a family and had zero amenities, it was at least clean and the beds firm. Neither room had sufficient hangers or towels and no in-room safe. The staff is polite, but can be rigid when it comes to their rules. For example we wanted some pool towels and they would only provide them with ID as collateral, as a foreign traveler it should not be necessary to put at risk your passport for a pool towel.. I suggest maybe ask for a deposit so your guests aren't risking their passports! Another complaint with towels... we had a family of 4 and they only left us 2 towels, then charged us extra for 2 more towels... silly. They also have this policy for beds, and wanted to put an extra bed in our room because we had a 10 year old... we didn't request another bed and there's no space for it, but they wanted to put it in there and charge us for it lol... in the end we got out of that one but not without some arguing. Breakfast was okay. Pool in the back is okay. It's called a resort but it's more like a motel. Stay here if it's convenient but don't expect much. The photos are misleading, I think it must be the lens, it just makes them look way more spacious than they really are. Tiny itty...
