Carmel's Inn and Restaurant — Hotel in San Carlos

We got stranden in San Carlos City after Odette and since we cant travel back to Cebu (fully booked trips) we had to other choice than to stay overnight so we went lookung for a place to stay overnight abd found a place to stat (at least) and found Carmel's Inn and Restaurant. Much to my disappointment..

I would NOT recommend Carmel's Inn and Restaurant because:

1: Terrible customer service. There was no cable/TV service in Room 1. 2.) The front desk staff/receptionist was not very accomodating and stated "it's NOT their problem that the cable TV is not working. 3.) no available food in the so called resrtaurant. 4.) Room rate is more expensive and not worth what you are paying for....

If there was a zero (0) rating i would give it that rating.

If you want to stay in a place with better customer service and better ammenities I would suggest Palau Hotel - way more cheaper, better customer service and you will get what you are paying for.

I hope that Carmel's Inn and Restaurant improve their service and start by replacing their front desk receptionist and make sure they at least have cable TV.

I returned to San Carlos for a vacation June to July 2018 with my wife and son after an absence of 5 years. I was pleased to see the ambiance had not changed at Carmels Inn and the addition of the new wing was pleasing to see. We stayed in Room 1 for 35 days and were given a generous discount for the long stay. The new wing is very well maintained, clean as a whistle, being vision impaired and having mobility issues i was very happy to be on the ground floor with a ramp for easy access. We had excellent WiFi connection 24 hrs a day in our room and outside areas even when the power was out for 12 hrs we still enjoyed AC, wifi and cable tv. Carmels has a great generator combined with satellite tv and WiFi i believe no other hotel in San Carlos can boast the same. Thanks to the efficient waiters especially Dlanor I always had cold beer and great food, all staff and security are excellent polite attentive and obliging. Location, amenities, ambience great service and pampering friendly staff made our stay a stress free and very enjoyable time. Looking forward to our next stay, thank you...

I will NOT recommend this place.

The staff are not accommodating. We were already sitting in a table we found vacant and no one came to take our order. We called one of their staff to assist us but he did not seem to care. So we stood up and left in disgust.

Pukot and Ridgeview restaurants have way better food and service. They really make customers feel welcomed. As soon as you step out of the vehicle, a staff member is ready to greet you, guide you to a table and...
