The only reason why I would give it 3 stars is because their pool areas were clean and there were plenty of lifeguards very attentive to the swimmers... but that was pretty much all i could say with a positive note. ||As for the accommodations, our group had rented Bella 2 , prior to booking the representative stated that we would have 8 beds, upon check in we only had 6 beds as one room was not avail to us.. because their lack of communication amongst the staff, they were immediate to convey the lack of communication on our end. After a lengthy conversation, they finally provided us 2 extra floor beds at no charge. Upon check out, they did their usual inspection, allowing us to depart from the villa. After their inspection, they stated that there is missing blanket and bed sheet. They were confident that they gave it to us as one supervisor 'claimed' she personally saw that we were provided a complete set. After spending an additional hour going back and forth with them and a manager, one of the house keepers realized that the missing sheet and blanket was actually placed inside a pillow without our knowledge. No apologies for our convenience rather the reason why of their combative response to us. 'Sorry, mam/sir as we will be deducted from our pay for the missing items'.. overall bad customer service. When we complained about a room not available to us they did not follow up and we had to chase them to get them to resolve. ||It is very disappointing that a resort such as Villa Alfredo does not provide exceptional customer service. ||Now imagine how it would be during PEAK SEAON ...If you stay there over night - ensure your expectations is low .. have them inspect the room and inventory with you and have them have it in writing for if something is missing or broken -...
Read moreA night before going to Alfredo's, we called and told them we are making an advance reservation for the rooms tomorrow, they told us that they do not entertain reservations and told us that they will check the availability of the rooms upon out arrival.
We arrived at 12nn yesterday morning, and we were told that there are no rooms available and has to settle to tables and and chairs near the pool. (These were fixed concrete chairs and tables that are most common among parks in the metro)
Fast forward to our stay, since we are with 7 childrens below 15 and 4 of them were toddlers, we requested if it is possible to transfer us where there is atleast a room for the youngsters to rest and settle; we were given metal carts for our things and denied the upgrade. We have repeatedly requested the staff for an update. It was a back and forth process, and upon the travel we have witnessed new comers who were entertained to ac rooms, to our disappointment we decided to leave at 5pm, even if we paid until 12mn for the day tour.
The place was nice, there are fishes in the aquariums, an aviary and a wide variety of physical activities which includes; Zipline, Wall climbing, a wave pool and etc.,
An unfortunate accident also happened, one minor (15yrs old) tripped over a broken tile under the pool, which resulted to massive bleeding. Though they were very responsible for providing first aid, and checking up on him before we leave.
Overall, our stay was a 3/5...
Read moreVilla Alfredos Resort is a beautiful place with numerous pools and dedicated areas for kids to have a great time. The ample parking made it easy to find a spot, and the aviary was a unique and fun addition, perfect for taking selfies with various birds and even snakes!
However, I must say that I was disappointed by some of the policies enforced by the management. The corkage fee for alcoholic drinks starts at 100 pesos per bottle and can go higher depending on the value of the drink you bring. They also prohibit the use of small portable speakers, pushing guests to pay 500 pesos for their videoke service.
Additionally, bringing your own portable stove comes with a corkage fee as well, while they offer their own for 500 pesos. They start charging kids aged 2 years old 150 pesos, which I found a bit excessive.
Unfortunately, the resort is not PWD friendly. Senior citizens are not allowed to ride on their caddy, and if they have difficulty walking and don't have a wheelchair, they must be placed in a cart. This lack of accessibility dampened our experience.
In summary, while Villa Alfredos Resort is beautiful and offers a lot of fun for kids, the management's policies overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit. If they reconsider some of these policies, the resort could be a fantastic destination...
