Most beaches in Siquijor imho (tho uninformed) consist of stony intertidal zones that are difficult to swim at during low tide. Some coastal areas are also accessed through cliffs (examples are Kawayan resort, Pitogo point) and not ideal for swimming if you don't know how. This made me forego an accommodation located around the coastline and booked this place instead which is located on top of a mountain, about ~10 min drive from San Juan town spring pool. No PUV or rarely do they pass here, so advisable to rent a tuktuk or motorbike. But one can readily make arrangements for transpo at the reception area. Other than that, the place is welcoming, serene, clean, expansive, with a nice big pool overlooking San Juan coast on the horizon, nice view of sunset, several instragrammable nooks and a big reason in itself: they have a powerful generator! The room is big, with hot water ( the hot shower works when the lever is turned rightmost (fronting you) and not the leftmost which is the usual, thank me later), good water pressure, mini fridge, smart tv, and reliable internet.Toilet with bidet, no dental sets, wall mounted shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. They have their own restobar and menu offerings that were surprisingly readily available and tasty. Spam fries which I ordered twice was a bomb. Servings and prices were comparative to those beach restos around San Juan. Staffs were unintrusive but readily offering smiles (shoutout to Joy and JB). I really enjoyed my stay here. I will stay here again if given the chance of coming back to Siquijor.

My stay at La Candura Resort has been an absolute paradise. The incredible view of the pink sky each evening has left me speechless, and I've been fortunate to witness some of the most breathtaking sunsets right from my doorstep. The culinary experience at the resort's restaurant has been a true gastronomic delight. Each meal was a work of art, bursting with flavors and creativity. I savored every bite, and every dish was a masterpiece. But what truly sets this place apart is the impeccable customer service. The staff here is a shining example of excellence. Their dedication to ensuring my comfort and satisfaction has been unwavering, and they've made me feel like royalty throughout my stay. The room accommodations have been nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail, the comfort, and the luxury of my room have provided the perfect sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. And let's not forget the perfect cocktail drinks. Each sip was a taste of pure indulgence, expertly crafted to complement the incredible atmosphere. In summary, my stay at this resort has been a symphony of natural beauty, culinary delights, top-notch service, luxurious accommodations, and perfect cocktails. It's been a dream come true, and I can't wait to relive these moments in the future.

Very serene place to stay (if there are no other walk ins). Not very deep in the mountains but the scenery is beautiful. The rooms were adequate with comfortable beds & seating area. It also has a fridge, kettle & good sized sink. The pillow was too soft for my liking. Had to use extra 2 haha. The outdoor spaces were marvelous and lots to sit in, whether you want to be in the sun or shade. But it would be nice of there were parasols or a little shade with the loungers by the pool. The pool was cool & refreshing. The staff were all kind & accommodating, patient & helpful. Location is good and the road towards it was smooth. Although we needed to be careful at night time as there were limited lights & not much reflectors. We brought cars, they might need to inform guests ahead of time regarding the parking space. Most guests are using motorcycles where it is easy to park. But in our case we had SUV. There is space for it but they should make future adjustment in case there will be more than 3 cars at a time. Haha. The place also has generators! A plus considering the rampant power outage. The wifi is not very stable, sometimes nothing. The mobile networks also very patchy. But i was still able to enjoy the serenity of the place, offline. My version of luxury & homey.
