We booked last minute and get two rooms for April 9th and 10th. We arrived about 3:30 pm and checked in. Rooms were older average motel room with double bed, large CR and AC. It was nice quite resort. We went out to look around and get dinner. We returned about 7:00 pm. The resort looked deserted with no electricity and no light of any sort. It was hot night and we could not locate anyone from the resort. It was like we were out in the middle of no where. Not a single light, no sign, no message, on one to get hold of. No power, no wi-fi and no cell signal. It was like you're on your own and abandoned! So we packed up using my trucks headlights to see. When we left the resort we saw lights on next door building so we were confused about no power at the resort. We found a room little was down the road, that had power, AC and 3 beds to spend the night. The resort will not refund you! MAKE SURE YOU WANT TO STAY AT THIS RESORT! I will not make this...

Read moreIsla Mystica is a lovely spot in Siquijor with the beach and sunset views just steps from the rooms (which have great AC and very hot showers). We missed our ferry that morning which was rather stressful as I had a flight home that same day. Luckily, our driver was extremely helpful and set us up with a slightly later ferry...
