If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the North of Siargao, this is the place!! The best homestay we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at, we extended our stay well beyond what we originally booked 🤩

The homestay is well located in a quiet, safe area, super close to the beach and a short drive from a grocery store & restaurants. The rooms and common area in the house are comfortable and well-equipped and the wifi is strong (Starlink) 🙌

What makes this homestay incredible is the family ❤️ They are the most welcoming, generous, kind-hearted people who make you feel at home and do everything possible to ensure you have a great stay. They can give you all the info you need about the area, get you set up with the best surf instructors, and will generally just take you in like family.

Mama Fe cooks incredible meals, and we had the amazing chance to experience the town’s fiesta celebrations, which the family included us in and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a family atmosphere, you couldn't find a better place! My stay at Masayay Homestay was absolutely exceptional.

The house is located in a quiet, non-touristy area, which provides ideal conditions for relaxation and tranquility. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped.

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The family running the homestay is very warm-hearted – they make you feel like home away from home. The hosts are extremely helpful and eager to share their knowledge about the area, recommending the best places to visit and local attractions. Thanks to them, I was able to discover many hidden gems and local attractions that I wouldn't have found in any guidebook.

In summary, if you dream of a peaceful retreat surrounded by friendly people, this homestay is the place you're looking for. I will definitely return at the first opportunity!

I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay with this amazing family in Northern Siargao for 4 nights. They were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and we shared so many wonderful moments together. Fe's cooking was delicious and always made us feel at home. Bboy was the ultimate tour guide and helper - he booked our tours, arranged transportation, and was always there to lend a hand. Migs was also super chill and helpful, and the whole family, including the dad and Leah, made us feel like part of the family.

The Northern part of the island is so authentic and unspoiled, and staying with this family allowed us to truly experience the local way of life. It's not a luxurious setup, but that's part of its charm. If you're looking for an immersive and authentic Siargao experience, I highly recommend staying with this family. They're a divine family who will make you feel like you're home. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give them ten...
