I checked in at Hotel Sogo Sta Rosa for a week-long workshop and I'm writing to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding service I recently experienced from Hotel Sogo's exceptional supervisors, Bea and Carlo, as well as Supervisor Jyan Surat. Bea and Carlo's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was truly remarkable. They processed my check-in and room transfer swiftly, showcasing attention to detail that goes beyond the ordinary. Their efforts have set a new standard for customer care at Hotel Sogo, reflecting the establishment's genuine value for its patrons. Supervisor Jyan Surat's exceptional service further solidified my positive experience. Swiftly addressing a crucial need for wifi access during my extended stay, he also coordinated a seamless room transfer and deployed maintenance staff promptly. His personal involvement in ensuring every aspect of the transfer went smoothly demonstrated a commitment that goes above and beyond. I believe Supervisors Bea, Carlo, and Jyan are invaluable assets to the Hotel Sogo management, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to them for setting the bar high for customer care. Their dedication has not only left a lasting impression on me but also reaffirmed my choice to be a loyal patron of Hotel Sogo.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay here. We usually get the Executive Garage Room. It was not available so we opt to get the Premium one instead and considering the style of the bed it was safer since we have an 8 month old with us.The room was dirty it even has a used towel on the restroom. The aircon was definitely not working. We called front desk and was just advise to wait for 2 hours to see if it will magically work somehow, they did not even send someone to check the rooms. Front desk was so unprofessional and lack basic and standard skills. We were too tired to argue. We slept and woke up at 1AM drenching in sweat, me, my husband and our 8 month old. We complained again. And we were transferred to another room at 2AM with 4 hours left on our stay. So instead of having a good rest we were not able to sleep at all! I already requested the name of the receptionist to file a complaint and they kept on dilly dallying we waited another hour just to get a first name and other details we requested. They don't take complain seriously and seems like front desks officers are not even trained on basic etiquette.

We asked for a room for four (4) before entering the hotel. A frontman said, "Yes, we have", so we entered at 3 a.m. at the hotel lobby. I thought that they would immediately bring us to our room, but they made us wait almost an hour! And upon entering the room, another disappointment happened because the room is only good for three (3) people. Should they have At least told us sooner that they don't have a comfortable room for 4 people so we can proceed to a different accommodation? We also ordered breakfast, and everything tasted bad. Beef tapa is hard to chew, and longganisa is too salty. The fried rice is not even fried; it is only plain rice with fried garlic toppings! Very disappointed. So mean, so bad.

When people hear the words Hotel Sogo, they already have nasty things in their mind.So when I just finished playing tennis in a country club nearby, I was devastated to find out that there was no water in the shower. I was stinky and sweaty so the first thing that came to my mind was "I need a place to shower. It must be near."||||I couldn't think of a nearby place and that's when I remembered Hotel Sogo. Upon arrival, I was really praying that nobody I know would be inside or would see me. I was shy but I badly needed a shower. So I asked the reception if they have a room meant for short stay only and to my gratitude, they offer rooms for maximum of 3hrs. I grabbed that room -I chose premier room, the cheapest at P375/3 hrs- siince I only needed a shower.||||Staff were polite BUT I was shocked that I was never asked any identification to check-in. I just paid in cash, was given a key card, and was lead to the elevator. So what if I were a bad person just wanting to check security of the place? So security is an epic fail in this hotel.||||The room I got was at the 2nd floor, pretty much like a maze to reach my room but the room surpassed my expectation. Really cold aircon and surprisingly clean. But my room smelled like cigarette so I concluded that the room given to me was a smoking room. Except for the room given to me, the toilet bidet wasn't working but since my main purpose is just to take a shower and stay for 3 hrs, I didn't bother complaining to the reception.||||Adequate hot shower. No free toiletries (except for a tiny piece of soap and the towels). The aircon is placed in a ridiculously high part of the wall. It wasn't convenient to adjust the temperature. Their TVs have "special adult channels" so if you are travelling with kids, don't let leave them unsupervised with the remote control.||||As easy as the check-in was also the check-out. It was smooth and fast. There's enough parking space for cars so leaving your car outside won't...

The room was nice, smells good and clean. May cable and wifi. Bathroom with a bathtub is clean too. Issues: Medyo itchy yung bed nila. May stain pa ung bed sheet. Di siguro nalabahan ng maayos. Yung Wifi intermittent. And they say (sa mga flyers and laminated leaflets all over the room) if our ordered food was not served within 10mins, it's free, just call to reverse the charge. We ordered coffee naman twice and both times, delivered within 5mins lang. Pero natagalan yung sumunod na order namin, burger and fries. I had to call to follow up and waited for a few minutes more bago dumating. It was late for 27minutes. I called to reverse (yun daw kasi ggwin pag nalate ung food), and sabi ng kausap ko, tatawagan nalang ako ulit to update (she sounded unhappy), pero no one called me back. During checkout, binanggit ko sa bellboy para mabawas sa total, sabihin ko nalang daw sa front desk. Pero when I got there,. no one acknowledged my concern and the receptionist did not even care. She still ran my card and did not reverse the charge for the burger and fries.

Too bad they don't do what they advertise and customer service both on the phone and at front desk are unfriendly, not welcoming. I think we really cannot expect good service from...
