Made a 1 night reservation so we could explore our first day before committing for a few days. They have their own 125cc scooters that you can rent here for 300 pesos. They were all out when we arrived so they organized one from somewhere else for 350. Very polite staff! The room was very clean with good AC, comfy bed and a nice bathroom with separate shower, hot water and good pressure. From 6am to 9am they have a free breakfast. It's a sweet Phillipino hot dog, a fried egg and a cup of rice. Very plain and nothing wrong with it just bland. If you don't want to go far to eat the Rainbow hotel had decent food and is just a 2 minute walk accross down the road on the other side of the highway. The value of the room was good at 1300 for a room with a queen size bed and 1100 for single beds. Everything else in the rooms is the same. Price was cheaper in person than on Agoda. This is an excellent room to base from on Siquijor. Just get a moped and you are good to go. Make sure to book ahead for your stay on Siquijor as it books out fast. Also keep an eye on the incoming weather as ferries get cancelled when the seas aren't good which can happen easily. We met lots of people scrambling to rearrange flights after a 1 day storm went through. UPDATE:. They now have real coffee for breakfast!!😀. There's a washing line out back if you need to dry...
Read moreWe booked the room by calling their mobile. Sent the deposit on time. As we booked the room, it was indicated that the pick up is free. So, when we got our ticket going to Siquijor, I texted them that we want to be picked up at the port but they just told me that they will check with the driver first if it's okay with him to pick us up (Like, seriously?), they texted me again that they can't pick us up because the driver has something else to do. They didn't even give us instructions on how to get to their location. But we did fine though, we rented a motorbike and thanks to Google Maps. At the day of our check out, we left at 7am to visit some places and at 11:30am the staff texted and even called us telling us the check out time and that it's almost 12nn and we're still not yet back. The way the texted me was so rude. I felt like they are freaking out that we can't check out at 12nn sharp. We know the check out time, we calculated our time to be back at the room on time. It's just rude the way they communicate with their guests. The room was so clean though. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Great place to stay. But if you're looking for nice place with nice staff this isn't the...
