My honest review: The place is a solid 10/10 — it’s really nice. We got the poolside room, which was great because we had direct access to the pool. As for the food, I’d rate it a 5/10. Just okay. For merienda, we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and cheese quesadilla, but neither really delivered. The quesadilla dip was very bland, and the pizza crust tasted like something store-bought, with a strange aftertaste. I’m not sure if it was just us, but I’d say try it for yourself and see. For dinner, we ordered crispy shrimp, chicken cordon bleu, and beef stroganoff. The shrimp and beef stroganoff were decent, but the cordon bleu they served us was undercooked. They did offer to replace it, but we were already almost done eating. It would’ve been better if they had checked it properly before serving. In my opinion, the food is also a bit overpriced. Staff-wise, I’d give them an 8.5/10. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent. However, when we asked for assistance with our bags on the way to the room, especially since we had a baby and quite a few things with us, the staff near the resort entrance just looked at us. If the front desk hadn’t told them to help, they probably wouldn’t have done anything. Would we go back? Not sure for now. It’s still their soft opening, so I’m hopeful things will improve.

Tried this new cafe and hotel in Tagum, just near Robinsons Place. Cozy spot with good food—we really enjoyed the bulalo and pasta. Staff were friendly and attentive. Since it’s still on soft opening, you’ll hear a bit of staff training. The scent near the dining area was a bit strong, but overall, it’s a nice place. Looking forward to coming back to try their rooms!

Our stay at Grand Palm Villas and Hotel in Tagum was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The hotel offers a peaceful, relaxing environment with beautifully maintained surroundings — a perfect place to unwind whether you're traveling for business or leisure.

One of the highlights for us was the halal food offered at their in-house restaurant. It’s not always easy to find halal options while traveling, so we really appreciated the care and consideration they put into serving meals that everyone can enjoy. The dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and generously portioned!

The swimming pool was another favorite — clean, well-kept, and perfect for cooling off during hot afternoons. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy some quiet time or have fun with family and friends.

Our room was spacious and clean, with all the essentials provided. The staff were consistently friendly, respectful, and attentive to our needs, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

Overall, Grand Palm Villas and Hotel is a hidden gem in Tagum. Great food, excellent service, and relaxing amenities all in one place. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be...
