Christ the King Cathedral — Attraction in Tagum

The wide perimeter of the cathedral resembles the beautiful ambience of the place designed for different big religious events, traditons and customs of the Catholic church. The sacredness and holiness of the cathedral is reflected in the whole view of the church which is adorned with majestical elements inside and outside. There are signs and symbols which is attributed to the Divinity of Jesus Christ the King: the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings -- this is also proclaimed in the Gospel of St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, and St. John (their faces and the four animals which symbolizes their proclamationof the Lord Jesus are embossed on the two high towers up to the walls and beneath is the sacrificial table used for Holy Masses. An eight-storey building is also attached at the backside of the church where the priests resides. At the rear sides of the church, there are 14 stations of the cross with a gold colored stoned type design that are used for adoration and contemplation.
