I'm visiting from Singapore, a solo traveler meeting my cousin and I have to say the hotel is cozy and has more than enough space for 2 people (Mine was a twin bed room). The aircorn is old-school (You have to adjust from the machine itself) but really strong. They provide amenities like Toothbrush and Paste, Soap, 2in1 shampoo/Conditioner sachets, coffee packets, mugs, spoons, bottled water, bath towels and a water heater. And I love the selective options to either only turn on the warm lights or the white lights. Of course they could upgrade it with IOT but it's a budget hotel and that's enough. My experience in the hotel has been a very pleasant one. The host is very friendly, I couldn't speak in Tagalog or Bisaya but she tries her best. Things to take note: 1) It is a budget hotel, don't expect Automatic Housekeeping, it's by request. You'll only have one bin in your living room and one in your toilet. You can throw your own trash just across your hotel room (Yes you have to go down, I reccomend the next morning). 2) No housekeeping means the water bottles and coffee sachets + used mugs will not be replaced. Nor your sheets and pillow cases or bath towels. 3) There is no wardrobes, as a solo traveler I don't really need it but for those who are here as a family or casuals, just know you don't have a specific place to hang your stuff. 4) The door's lock might be a bit hard to lock and unlock, but it just makes it harder for someone to break in lmao, it's your hotel room, so own the struggle like I did (Which I got used to after a few lock and unlocks.) 5) They do provide Shuttle-Bus service to Davao Airport. For my experience, I was charged 2700₱ (Including Gasoline which is roughly 500₱) and requested them to pick me up at 2am. 6) The shower water is inconsistent, it goes from cold to hot and there's no way to properly control it, and yes the shower heads seems to be clogged, I hope they replace it soon. Just note it might not be an actual literal shutter bus, because for me, it was a car. Yes as a budget hotel there might be more cheaper hotels you could find online but I'd say Lucky 9 is safe and decent. Don't come here and expect Tip-top service, just appreciate that you have a nice place to stay and a place to return to. You want housekeeping and top service? Just go to Corporate 8 💀 All in all Lucky 9 is a go-to place for those who wants to try and lower their expenses while having a comfortable place to stay. Again I booked a *twin bed room*, this is my experience and the other rooms might give you a different experience. But I reccomend 👍🏼 Thank you po < 3

The room was spacious, nice and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. ✅ Super comfy beds ✅ Free Wi-Fi ✅ Free coffee upon arrival ✅ Free parking. The only problem I've encountered is i ordered food for lunch but they told me to order online and have it delivered because they only serve breakfast and dinner. We went out to find any restaurants but there's none nearby we end up buying biscuits and drinks at sari-sari store in front of the hotel.

We had the most amazing time on a wonderful place in tagum. Though the place is not accessible to most people, you can always ask the locals, and they'll certainly give directions. The staff is accomodating, and are kind enough to return our belongings that are left out.

I wanted the whole world to know the real story behind the NEGATIVE 1 ratings. December 2022 we were in that hotel booked for 3 days for 2 rooms. Month/s before ---- I asked the receptionist to give me the biggest most comfortable room and I will pay. I am asking to pay ahead of time for the rooms to be reserved but they said it can be paid during the day of the booked reservation. Comes the day of the reservation.. We traveled 21 hours from out of the country just to be with a relatives wedding... Went to the office to pay.. We went to the room.. It SMELLED SEPTIC TANK had been OPENED inside the SMALL DIRTY room. Outside was FULL OF GARBAGE and 4-5 HUGE BLACK BASINs....The RUDE LADY MANAGER went to us in the room and said the rooms are filled as there were a LOT of weddings reservation. Instead of APOLOGISING, she said I AM BEING CHOOSY... She told me that she will fix things up.. She went back to the Office. When she came back, she said SHE CANCELED the reservation and WE ARE FREE TO GO. VERY VERY RUDE, HEARTLESS, UNPROFESSIONAL Human being I have ever encountered. I HAVE 2 KIDS WITH ME and the RAIN WAS POURING... It was already 8 PM and it was very very hard to find a HOTEL.. TAGUM CITY DOESNT HAVE A TAXI... Can anyone imagine how I would find a place to stay with 2 kids with me, very hungry, tired and just want to relax already for the night ? The next day the kids had fever... If I ONLY HAVE too much time in the Philippines I would SUE THAT WOMAN... Is she even a human being.....? ... One day... KARMA COMES to rude people especially when others are helpless to protect...
