Leonida's Resort and Restaurant — Hotel in Talisay

The food is great. I recommend their lomi. It's the best in town for a fraction of a price. If you are from out of town, try the tawilis for free breakfast. Although, it's always in demand and there's currently an ordinance regulating the fishing of tawilis from the lake to save it from extinction. The rooms are clean and the place is very new. There's a swimming pool for kids and adults with kiddie slide and grown up slides at opposite ends. There's another set of swimming pools too at the lake side but as of posting and during our visit, it is still in the works. Expect there are still some area under construction but it's not noisy at all even with construction in full swing. I guess they're done with the noisy part or they mask the noise with music. The staff are friendly and hospitable. They are always there to assist down to the tiniest details to ensure you get to enjoy a splendid stay. I gave this resort a five star or ten if i could because my family got the room accomodation with the Mother's Day discount and plus the whole resort to ourselves because we checked in on a Thursday! Despite being here as part of a conference/training, all the staff are friendly and responsive to guest needs. The facilities are excellent for its class. The food is not disappointing. The pool was clean and I was pleased to hage exclusive access because of its 24-hour nature.

The Wi-Fi is fast. I was surprised and I think that is a lesson for me not to underestimate Internet connectivity outside of Metro Manila.

Value for money! Food is good for their price. We ordered bulalo, chopsuey, relleno, lechon kawali and turon. The one that takes it home was the turon! The staff are also welcoming and accommodating. Tables are spaced enough to establish distancing. They have quite a number of items on the menu but we’re not big eaters so we only got to taste a few items. Recommended for when you can’t beat the waiting time (and traffic)...
