Meaco Royal Hotel-Taytay — Hotel in Taytay

I stayed here for a night because I didn’t want to go home (my mom and I had a fight, and I couldn’t focus on my work due to her constant nagging), so I decided to give this place a try.

I didn’t expect much from the room, especially since I got the cheapest one for a 24-hour stay (₱1,200). However, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was thick and comfortable for the price, and the linens were clean. They provided three pillows of decent quality.

The air conditioning was a split-type unit that worked perfectly—it was cold and refreshing, haha.

The room came with two towels, two pairs of slippers, complimentary soap, shampoo, and other basic toiletries.

There was no complimentary water, but you can purchase some downstairs.

They also use key cards for security, which was a nice touch.

One thing they could improve on is the bathroom smell, which I personally didn’t like.

The location is great, as it’s in Taytay Bayan, where you can easily order or buy food nearby.

Location is accessible to Taytay provincial hospital, police station, church , shopping Centre and Taytay Market,Bathroom tiles has mild dew and the table is visibly unclean, rusty shower and towel rack. I noticed some sacks of cements and pail of paints near the Lift so I’m assuming they’re doing some renovations. I hope next visit would be spotless 😄The room is unexpectedly spacious.Clean but Torn towels. ( the laundromat staff might projected his anger to the towels🤣🤣🤣)I slept well. Worst experience.

Has Kitikiti (mosquito larva) and small flies inside the bathroom. Bathroom smells so bad. I think that is due to some kind of hole beside the sink and it's leaking some liquid which causes the bad smell. You will have other living things inside the room, rats, which you will share some of your food with them at night because they will feed on them. No power outlet beside mirror or bathroom Blankets, bed cover seems not changed because it doesn't smell like newly washed.

No cctv that shows the hallway in front of the rooms. There are CCTVs showing only the elevator and stairs
