Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff—everyone had smiles on their faces and made us feel at home right away. The lobby is located on the second floor, which was fine for us, but I hope the hotel considers accessibility improvements for seniors and persons with disabilities in the future. That said, the lobby was clean, cozy, and just as inviting as the staff. ❤️👍🏻
Throughout our stay, the hotel and restaurant staff were consistently friendly and attentive to our needs—definitely one of the main reasons we’ll be returning and recommending this place to others. ✨
We enjoyed dining at Lujo, their in-house partner restaurant. The food was good, and the servings were generous! 😋 We also paid for breakfast to be served in our room at a specific time daily, and they were always on time—plus the food was served hot. That deserves a big thumbs up. 👍🏻
However, a few things could be improved. The lights in our room were flickering the entire stay. While we never lost power, the flickering was distracting, especially at night. We reported this to management, and to their credit, someone checked it the next day and it briefly improved—but unfortunately, the flickering returned and lasted until we checked out.
The internet connection was also very slow—definitely not suitable for working online or attending meetings. I couldn’t even play Roblox, which says a lot. 😅 We had to rely on mobile data the whole time, but even that was weak due to the location’s poor signal coverage.
Another downside was the breakfast selection. The tapsilog was unavailable for most of our stay and only served on our last day, after we gave honest feedback about the overcooked longganisa, spam, and sausages. I even had to request that the food not be overcooked on our second day because it had become too hard to enjoy. When the tapsilog was finally served, it was hot and delicious—too bad we missed out on it earlier.
Our biggest issue, though, was the lack of communication between staff. When I first inquired about a room, I was told it was available and allowed to pencil-book it. I informed them we’d confirm and pay the next day, and the staff assured us that the booking was confirmed. I asked for a quote via email but was redirected to message their Facebook page instead. A different staff member responded there, unaware of our prior conversation, so I had to repeat everything. It became quite exhausting.
The next day, ready to pay, another staff member told me the room we had penciled in was already given to a walk-in guest—apparently, they prioritize walk-ins. That was disappointing. Why allow pencil bookings at all? Still, we were set on staying because of the hotel’s clean, spacious rooms and good reviews, so we agreed to a different room. Then minutes later, yet another staff member called to say our original room was still available. The inconsistency was frustrating. Our travel agent eventually took over and helped finalize the booking, but even she had to repeat details multiple times due to the miscommunication. I can only imagine how tiring this would’ve been if we handled it ourselves.
Overall though, we still loved our stay! These comments are shared to help management improve, because the hotel truly has great potential—especially with staff who are helpful and genuinely attentive. Special commendation to CJ from the front desk for always being prompt and serving us with a...
Read moreThe staff are very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel feels like a one-stop shop, and I particularly loved the idea of having their own laundry service—very convenient! However, here are some areas that could be improved: Lack of Hot/Cold Shower There was no hot shower available, not even in the lavatory, and unfortunately, we didn’t report it during our stay. Since we had traveled under the rain, we were really hoping for warm water to help us relax. It was a bit disappointing not to have that comfort. Room Not Ready Despite Late Check-In Even though we checked in late (around 9 PM), our room was not ready due to an issue with the blanket not fitting the bed. We were doing a North Loop trip and were already very tired, so this was quite inconvenient. We expected the room to be fully prepared—especially since we booked in advance and advised we will late check-in. To be fair, it didn’t take too long (around 15-20 minutes), but considering we were soaked and freezing, it felt longer. On the positive side, the receptionist apologized multiple times and even offered us complimentary drinks, which we appreciated. Miscommunication with Food Ordering We hadn't eaten dinner yet, so while waiting for our room, I asked the receptionist if we could still order food. She assured us that food service was available until 11 PM. However, when we tried ordering from our room at around 10 PM onwards, the person who answered the phone said we could no longer order and suggested we use FoodPanda instead. I appreciated that they gave us an alternative option and understand that maybe they have cut-off time for ordering which was not cleared to us. What upset me, was something I overheard. When the staff member on the phone asked her colleague, she said (perhaps forgetting to mute the line), "Pwede pa ba umorder?... Yung Caviteña kanina." I found this unprofessional. I’m actually Ilokana, though I live in Cavite—hence the Cavite address on my ID. Regardless of my background, staff should avoid referencing guests by location or perceived ethnicity and instead use neutral identifiers like room numbers. Professionalism and respect should always come first.
Despite these issues, I can’t deny that the room was beautiful and very clean. The ambiance and setup were impressive, and it definitely helped make our stay more comfortable. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and It's worth recommending to others. I hope the hotel can take these points into consideration to further improve their...
Read moreWe recently stayed at this hotel and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the property is clean and well-kept, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, decent storage space, and strong air conditioning, which made relaxing after a long day much easier.
However, there were quite a few drawbacks that affected our overall stay. Noise was a constant issue—the walls are very thin, and we could easily hear neighbors’ TVs, alarms, and conversations. On one occasion, the power went out intermittently, which also cut off the water. Not a great surprise when you’re covered in soap mid-shower.
The location didn’t help either. It’s on the outskirts of town in an unattractive industrial area, with nothing nearby to explore on foot or even grab a quick bite. We felt pretty isolated without transportation.
As vegetarians, dining was a struggle. The complimentary breakfast had very limited options—mainly rice and eggs—which got tiring after the first couple of days. Even basic items like coffee came with an extra charge. The on-site restaurant had a fun atmosphere and an extensive menu, but the staff had difficulty understanding requests for meat-free dishes. In one case, we asked for pancit without shrimp, but it arrived covered in liver. When we politely declined, we were still expected to pay for it.
One surprising and disappointing moment was being charged ₱500 for a bloodstain on the sheet. We’ve stayed in hotels around the world and have never been charged for what we assumed was a normal part of laundering linens. Additionally, a wobbly toilet seat we reported was never fixed.
Overall, while the hotel has some good qualities, particularly the cleanliness and staff attitude, the combination of noise, poor location, and food service issues means we likely won’t...
