Meaco Royal Hotel -Valenzuela — Hotel in Valenzuela

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. I’ve stayed in various places, but this experience stands out as uniquely bad. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, whether friends or tourists visiting Valenzuela.

The visiting hours are only 15 minutes, and there is no elevator—only stairs. The manager informed us that we could stay in the room for 15 minutes, but if we exceeded that time by even 2 minutes, we would be charged an additional 300 pesos. This policy is outrageous.

The staff’s approach was unprofessional. The manager told us that if we wanted to talk, we should do so in the lobby. This is unacceptable, especially if the conversation is private.

Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was not working well. This made the short visit even more uncomfortable.

Fifteen minutes is not enough time for a visit, especially considering that you have to use the stairs. By the time you reach the room, catch your breath, and settle in, it’s already time to leave. I even had to set an alarm to ensure we didn’t overstay our 15-minute limit.

This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Valenzuela. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this place...

This place is COMPLETE TRASH! The room and bathroom is dirty and moldy. I started coughing immediately when I stepped into the bathroom. There is no lamp on the bed stand. The room smells like urinal deodorizer. I can feel the springs on the mattress. The towels are dirty. There is no toilet paper provided. there is mold on the walls of the bathroom. There is dirt on the walls. this place is falling apart. it is right next to the highway so it is very noisy, even with the windows closed. I ended up booking a much nicer hotel six minutes away. I did not care if I paid for the whole stay here and ended up not staying...

Place is a joke. Sheets and pillow cases smell like they have been washed WITHOUT soap. Rooms smell musty. Shoddy craftsmanship on all fixtures. Beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. COCKROACHES everywhere. Wifi=no-fi.. keeps disconnecting, password given is wrong, I had to complain about it 4x till they finnaly had someone come and reset the router. .. now it works yes? .. but VERY SLOW. Can't even load a simple webpage. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, so.. open the window right?.. and let the diesel exhaust fumes come in from the streets.. much better. STAY AWAY...
