Lets start with the positives. The hotel and the rooms all offer beautiful views over Czantoria and the mountains and overlooking the neighbouring Lesny Park. The location is good as it is slightly out of town but this means you are away from the action and facilities such as restaurants. The road leading up to the hotel can also be quite crowded because it passes the popular Lesny Park. ||The hotel grounds were nice with open green space to explore and the exterior was unique. After booking we read that the hotel was under going a major renovation in March which did freshen up the interior. Alas the attention to detail was lacking and much of the good aspects of the hotel ended here. ||Access is quite poor. During our stay the drop off area in front of reception was constantly parked in by the same cars. There was nowhere to drop off your luggage and the no parking signs were obviously ignored. The one car park well down the hill was always very full and we were lucky to get a car space and it is quite a steep climb from the carpark to the hotel especially with your luggage. ||Room 201 was one of the suites and was located near the lifts. It was a large spacious room with some updated décor but other things like scratched doorhandles and a cracked bathroom basin had not been renovated which detracted from the quality of the room. There was a nice balcony but you have to avoid the neighbouring smokers. The bed was soft and small and the pillows flat and lumpy and we had to request extra pillows to support our neck. They brought them but questioned why we needed them. Good independent air con and lots of powerpoints and USB ports for charging.||The real negatives were the terrible soundproofing inside and out. We could clearly hear noise from neighbouring rooms, the hallway and even bands playing down in the town centre. Housekeeping was one of the worst we have encountered. Their work seemed limited to making the bed and refreshing some amenities. They did not vacuum, clean the bathroom or properly hang up towels after use. Wall mounted soap dispensers were almost empty when we arrived and were not refilled during our entire stay. The bathroom was decent although the spa bath had traces of dirt on arrival. ||The wifi signal was very poor and kept dropping out. When we asked staff whether the internet was working they simply said to keep trying and offered no other explanation or apology. ||The breakfast buffet was extensive but alot of the food was not covered which can be a problem with large crowds with poor hygiene. The restaurant didn’t come across clean with stained table clothes and dirty plates. ||Apart from the lady who checked us in most staff seemed disinterested and did not excel in customer service. We rarely criticise a hotel this much but the effort made and the supposedly five star product offering were that poor that it warranted it. To top it off we received an email from the hotel a few days later with a demand for payment for minibar consumption that we had not used. They did not respond to our reply that we did not use the minibar. A simple thank you or acknowledgement would...

Overall stay ok, but we rate the hotel itself at 3 *|On the plus side:|- location at the very top, but access is cumbersome, because there is a park in front of the hotel for visitors and you have to be careful because it is narrow and a lot of people,|- cleanliness at the highest level,|- very good food and a large selection,|- nice and helpful staff.|As for the minuses:|- we did not receive a room with one large bed, only 2 singles joined together, and we informed about the request before arrival and we did not receive information either at the reception or by e-mail that they no longer have available rooms, but we found out when we had already checked in|- when it comes to the room itself, the view is poor, because from the side of the entrance and at night you could hear someone coming or how the service was doing something at the garages|- in the bathroom, the water in the shower is difficult to set when it comes to temperature and very low pressure|- when it comes to the pool area, it is the biggest drawback, because the water in the pool is cold, most of the options such as rain shower etc. do not work, the jacuzzi works only in the afternoon because it heats up for a long time, in the cloakroom to put things in the lockers, you have to get another card because the room...

Przyjechałam na Święta Bożego Narodzenia. Niestety swój turnus zaczęłam wcześniej 22.12.2023. Podczas rejestracji obsługiwała mnie bardzo miła Pani więc w pierwszej chwili było mile wrażenie lecz po paru sekundach czar obsługi prysł. Starszy Pan który siedzi szczupły na recepcji strasznie nachalnie wręcz narzucał się Pani że on wszystko zrobi gdy ta go poinformowała że zrobila powiedział i tak zrobi. Horror. Wieczorem zaczeliśmy od obiadokolacji która była wyliczona ilosc plasterków wędlin sera no ogolnie słabo, wieczorem o 20.00 bajka dla dzieci sala B zimna widać oszczędzali na zdrowiu klientów warunki do oglądania mierne bo nie wygodne krzesła, a film z laptopa na nie pełnym ekranie wyświetlony. 23.12 od 10 animacje no ok ale Panie miały bardzo ubogi wachlarz propozycji. Śniadania standardowe chodź ilość minimalna, niestety. Następnie obiadokolacja no nie powalała menu nie adekwatne dla małych dzieci. Niestety gdy dziecko głodne trzeba zakupić obiadek odpłatnie, dodatkowo gdy córa chciała sam dodatkowy makaron do spaghetti usłyszałam od kelnerki Diany Iż no kuchnia zarobiona by zrobić sam makaron ale jak kupię jakby porcję czyli spaghetti tyle że bez sosu to znajdą czas by wydać. Żenada!!!! Ale już szczyt szczytów czuli czyste apogeum było w Wigilię 24.12.2023 Niestety Hotel nie potrafi obsłużyć 200 osób kolacja 4h trwała i kelnerzy nosili po dwa talerzyki nie użyli wózka by przyspieszyć a jedyne co umieli powiedzieć no że Niestety jest 200 osób i nie dają rady!!! To po cholere robią Święta? Nistety pakiet obejmowal spotanie z jakże nieudanym mikolajem niestety młody chlopiec przebrany byl tak denny bo nie wiedział co mówić ogolnie typowo brak klimatu. Mierne dekoracje przy wejsciu. Kurzu od groma w restauracji az na słupach pajeczyny kurzu wisza w lobby podobnie koszmar!!! Kolędy tak rozwieszone godzinne kolędowanie kolejna bujda młode dziewczęta przyszło próbowała śpiewać lecz tak smutno że ludzie mieli dość ale Pani przeszła z kolęd na piosenki typu Last Christmas no kolejna porażką. Następna pokój zabaw 109 chyba przeznaczona dla max 5 dzieci, brak kręgli, przestarzały Mikro Basen tak mocno nachlorowany że aż śmierdzi. No jednym słowem 5 gwiazdek to może było 20 lat temu. Żeby było ciekawiej była dogoterapiatak samo beznadziejna że dzieci się nudziły, ale co zobaczyły ile pies zje przysmaków i jak sprzątać kupę dramat:( nic to nie wniosło kolejna osoba która nie ma pojęcia co pokazać z psem :( No ale ciekawy drugi dzień świąt śniadanie jak zwykle od piątku non stop to samo czyli nudno! To ja dodatek brakujące wędliny, sałatki obiadokolacja podobnie brak wędlin sałatek wyliczona ilość sera żółtego szynki. A no miały być swojskie wyroby a szyna była z Krakusa od szwagra jak i kabanosy do swojskiego jedzenia to tu dalekoooo sama wędzę to wiem co i jak. Niestety boczek był strasznie tłusty, szynki kupne jak i ta kiełbasa ala swojska. Niestety jedyne co było w miarę to ser też kupny ale regionalny było czuć że jest eko. Niestety oscypki słabej jakości jak i sery białe, ale żeby eogole podejść i nałożyć to trzeba pokonać szafki które otwierają się i odpychają klienta od blatu a namolni kelnerzy którzy nie umieli obsługiwać Wigili natrętnie podchodzili zabierać talerze nie dając czasem dokończyć posiłku. Proponuję by szefostwo przejechało się do Szaflar Borowy Dwor mógłby mieć 4 gwiazdki ale są jako pensjonat natomiast mogą śmiało pochwalić się jakością obsługa i pakietem Świąt Bożego Narodzenia tam czuć klimat szefowa wita gości osobiście składa życzenia i potrafi przywołać góralska kapele która radośnie składa życzenia o pięknie kolęduje. Oj dużo byście się tam nauczyli. A tak cóż Wstyd i Mara 5 gwiazdek nie powinno to miec . Nie polecam pakietu Świątecznego w Belwederze. Żałuję bo teraz wiem że to był...
