HOTEL WITKOWSKI — Hotel in Warsaw

Overall had a really pleasant stay here! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the staff were nice. Old Town Warsaw is also not too far away, and it’s such a lovely place to visit. Highly recommend eating Polish dumplings! My friend who is a lifelong Warsaw resident thought this stay was a bit overpriced, but it’s still far more reasonable than hotels in many other European cities. My only hiccup with this booking was the shuttle service: it was confusing to coordinate. Most complimentary airport shuttle services have shuttles going back and forth every hour or every 30 minutes, so I didn’t realize this hotel only has one shuttle and one driver, meaning you have to individually schedule your pickup in advance. It’s hard to predict what time you’ll be ready to go, as even if your flight lands on time, you still have to de-board the plane, go through customs/immigration, wait for your baggage at the carousel and find your way to the exit. My bags took a while to come, and then I got a little lost, and the driver almost left without me. Dzien dobry! I really liked the location (10 mins. from airport) and it was a local hotel. I try to choose places that are not huge name brand hotels. When I inquired about the shuttle, they sent me clear photos of where to meet them and what the shuttle looked like. This was the first time I had seen a hotel do this. Bravo to them as it was so helpful! When I arrived and checked out, the reception staff members were super friendly, professional, and attentive! I appreciate being greeted with pleasant, kind, and beautiful smily faces. First impressions of this hotel made a big difference for me. I'd go back again. The hotel was clean, comfortable with modern decor. The bathroom was the cleanest that I had ever seen. I have traveled far and wide and I know. It is a lovely hotel. I ordered room service because I was too tired from the long commute to dine in. Food was served timely, fresh and well presented. The lady who brought my food up was so nice and helpful too. It was my first time staying at Hotel Witkowski, and it was a bad idea.||The rooms are not soundproof, the receptionist said that they gave me a quiet room which wasn't as I could also hear loud music from outside of my window. There was no safety deposit box, and the beds were very low and hard. The shower is very cramped up. No wonder people are hitting the wall and having bruises from it. The service was okay, but I felt unsafe with them around a little.||The location was bad as there is nothing around the hotel maybe like one supermarket and one restaurant but it's away from the city centre. It is close to the Chopin Airport, and the hotel offers for free a shuttle van to take you there, but you need to book it.||The only thing I liked about this hotel was that you could spot planes every 5 minutes.||Overall, I would not come back, and I would not recommend...
