This is definitely one of the most unique places we’ve ever stayed. Relaxing by the pool while two ostriches wander nearby was such a memorable experience! Guests can even feed the animals using a dispenser (€1), which was a lovely touch provided by the owners.
The accommodation itself is very cosy and modern, having been refurbished in 2020 from a farmhouse. The pool and shared spaces are perfect for families and groups, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The location is also great for exploring. The nearby town is worth a visit, especially the intriguing Chapel of Bones. We also found vendors selling enormous watermelons for just €5, and supermarkets are only a short 5-minute drive away.
The property is very pet-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. Our Jack Russell absolutely loved the open spaces for her zoomies, and while she enjoyed meeting other dogs, she especially liked greeting the goats through the fence. Although dogs aren’t allowed around the pool, it was empty during our stay, so we managed to capture some fun photos.
Overall, a fantastic and memorable stay with a wonderful mix of comfort, character, and charm. Highly...
