Marti Watersports — Hotel in Abrantes

We had an amazing stay at Marti Watersports. As keen wakeboarders, we were blown away by the setup — the Nautique G23 boat delivers a massive, clean wake that made every session a thrill. The lake itself is beautiful: warm, clean, and calm — perfect for both beginners and experienced riders.

The accommodation and pool area were top quality, stylish and thoughtfully designed, making it a great place to unwind between sets. We loved paddleboarding and spending time on the pontoon — it quickly became our favourite hangout spot.

It’s a true family-run resort, and you can feel the passion and care in everything they’ve created. I was especially impressed by the father-and-son team who have built so much of the site themselves — their skill in engineering and design is evident throughout.

There are several beaches within a short drive, but we often preferred to just stay lakeside — it’s that good. There’s also excellent restaurants locally and a beautiful town (Tomar) which is a must visit.

Marti Watersports was such an unforgettable experience! From the very first moment, Simon and his family made us feel so welcome — it truly feels like being part of their home. During our stay we had the chance to try e-foil, wakeboard, wakesurf, and even an exciting buggy ride. Every activity was perfectly organized, safe, and so much fun.

The atmosphere is relaxed but professional, and you can feel the passion they put into everything they do. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and gave us the perfect start for action-packed days on the water.

What made the whole experience even more special was the warmth and kindness of Simon and his family. They are genuinely some of the best people you could meet, and they made our days there not just about sports, but about connection and good vibes.

Most most most BEAUTIFUL experience. We went twice to Marti Watersports - October and April - both times were absolutely amazing. The LOCATION is a DREAM. The whole property is outstanding, beautiful and created with so much love and care. The Rooms / Bungalows are MODERN, super clean, comfortable, pretty - we were 4 girls and we were all happy and amazed with the beauty and quality. The OWNERS are warm, kind, helpful and loving. WAKESURFING was top top top. Mastercraft Road, perfect wave and the best pilot! We will all definitively be back. For fun on the water, relaxing in the sun and cocktails in the Jacuzzi.
