Mata Beach — Hotel in Almada

Had a great stay at Mata Beach Guesthouse! Pedro is a welcoming and incredibly accommodating host. He really went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic one. We will definitely be making a return trip.

The guesthouse is spacious, clean and tidy with a lovely garden and pool which is perfect for summer.

Mata Beach guesthouse is in a great location; easy access to the beautiful scenery along the ridge in the forest overlooking gorgeous beaches of south Lisbon's sunny coast. This is a lovely place if you are looking for something just outside the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and close to the beautiful beaches of Caprica. The whole atmosphere of the hostel is very relaxed. Many nice facilities in and around the hostel such as a large kitchen, table tennis table, swimming pool, surfboard and table football. Owner Pedro is on hand if you need help or tips on the better restaurants in the area. Pedro even sent back to the Netherlands a pair of glasses that we had left behind. What a service! Very large rooms for a hostel with private bathroom! I can recommend this hostel...

This guesthouse is amazing! 🥹 We moved here from an old guesthouse that wasn’t great, I just wish we came here in the first place, the rooms are so nice and the garden and pool area is amazing. it’s quiet and everyone is so nice. it’s only 5-10 mins to the beach in a taxi or 40 min walk. Perfect if you want something cheap, I’ll be back again...
