In a life well lived one is lucky to have a handful of dining experiences that are so evocative they demonstrate not just a better way to eat, but a better way to live. It will come as no surprise to the reader that Casanova has gifted me one of these experiences. A warm welcome, rapid and professional service, incredibly generous portions of high quality homely food. All of this in a venue that makes you feel not just at home but at peace. Like a diamond Casanova has many facets that make up one beautiful whole but to finish my review I would like to highlight just one. The care that the owners of Casanova put in to their restaurant: care for the restaurants patrons, care for the food that is cooked, care for the neighbourhood, care for the traditions of their ancestors to pass on their recipes and share them with guests from near and afar, care for the produce used in the dishes. Uma agradável surpresa! Encontramos este restaurante a caminho da praia, após um desvio no Waze por causa do trânsito. Fomos recebidos com sorrisos, boa disposição e uma ementa ao encontro do nosso apetite! Ambiente familiar, sem pressas, sem julgamento e com muita humildade o Sr. Informa " não temos luxo"...
