This place is simply WONDERFUL, by far the best place I have ever stayed in Portugal. The Beiral House it's perfect, beautifully integrated in the forest and the surrounding area. The house has everything you need, a comfortable bed and pillows, gorgeous light, a very modern private jacuzzi and a fully equipped kitchen. The living area is cosy and the wi-fi is working well not only inside the house but also on the small porch and by the outdoor pool. Every morning the breakfast is brought to you in a beautiful picnic basket and has lots of variety and fresh products: fruit, orange juice, milk, scrambled eggs, bread, croissants. It also includes cheese, yogurt, ham, butter and different types of jam, cereals, coffee and tea. The outdoor area is well kept, full of plants, green grass, trees and flowers. Guests have access to the outdoor pool with salty water, the indoor heated pool, the jacuzzi and a hammock. There is also a beautiful trail (easy to navigate), peacocks and a friendly cat to keep you company. The check-in was very friendly, it went very smoothly and we were provided with all the relevant information. If you don't want to leave the gorgeous premises, they have partnerships with 2 restaurants which can bring you food. I recommend Peso Village for the outstanding hospitality, beautiful setting and peaceful environment. Would return in a...

Lovely stay at Peso Village! We stayed here, in the Alvarinho Suite, for a few days in early Sept 2023. Our accommodation was spacious and airy, with modern, tasteful decor and very clean. Good shower and plentiful hot water. Each morning a basket full of breakfast goodies is delivered and left outside the door - breads, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice, fruit, cheese, ham... The accommodation buildings are set in the hotel's green spaces and surrounded by their vineyards and woods. The outside pool area is clean and has lovely views. There is also an indoor pool and games room for rainy days. All staff members we met were very pleasant and professional; in particular Antonio who greeted us on arrival, explained everything, offered good suggestions for local restaurants, and was always on hand to deal with any requests. Peso Village is around 15 minutes' drive from Amarante, a truly lovely small town set on the river, with many fabulous eateries. We would love to return to Peso Village - highly...

I don’t usually leave a review on accomodation but Antonio and the team in Peso Village went all out to provide a lovely 3 nights stay over our 2 weeks holiday in Portugal.

The whole experience begins from our correspondences. Much appreciated the recommendations on wineries in Duoro and food in Amarante.

We absolutely love our room, very comfy bed, great shower & bath/jacuzzi, practical & classy kitchenettes, full breakfast and the fireplace is a bonus to us ☺️ All our questions / requests were answered very quickly and efficiently.

Muito Obrigada!

FYI that we rented a car from Porto airport for our 3 days in Amarante and Duoro. I think it’s necessary to go around with a car in this region and parking is a breeze. There’s a free parking area in Amarante and easy parking in the...
