Fonte de Amandos — Hotel in Arganil

We booked this hotel for 1 night in December. It was a little tricky to find but once we had located it what a gem!||||It was small but very modern, new and immaculate.||||Bedding was stunning and bed so comfortable. The bathroom shower was amazing with a very high tech rain forest shower head. I do apologise if you heard any shouting from my room it was the shock of the shower being blasted by various nozzles - very liberating and wonderful experience. Complimentary water in room.||||The rooms are located above the Argus cafe which and breakfast is in the cafe. Their food is amazing and we had a cheese & ham toastie with a Pastel de nata and coffees. You must meet Carlos the host of cafe, although he speaks no English he is the friendliest man ever and we re visited the cafe a few time during our stay.||||This accommodation is not a hotel or B & B but an en-suite room in apartment block. It was very safe and parking was not in a car park but just outside of room.||||I highly recommend this accommodation and will be recommending it to friends and family.||||An amazing quiet stay. Sabe aquele lugar que parece ser mais bem recebido do que quando vai visitar uns parentes?! Pois é, esse alojamento é 10 estrelas, são pessoas fantásticas, o Sr. Carlos é um amor, um homem espetacular!! O quarto muito bem limpo, aconchegante, soalheiro, casa de banho muito bem higienizada e o pequeno almoço fantástico. Este alojamento fica no centro de Arganil, por cima da Pastelaria Argus, e o pequeno almoço incluído no alojamento é na pastelaria, por isso, podes pedir o que quiser e o Sr. Carlos até lhe prepara um itinerário para conheceres as piscinas naturais da redondeza, que digo, são lindas! É um local que desejo volta...

Estava viajando a trabalho e por a caso parei nessa cidade, posso dizer que tirei a sorte grande em encontrar esse lugar, o senhor Carlos merece uma medalha de melhor anfitrião do mundo, super acolhedor, pessoa extremamente simpática, não sei se um dia voltarei a Arganil, mas se eu voltar com certeza vou ficar hospedado no Sr Carlos ou pelo menos tomar um café com ele.
