Hillside House - Suites & Spa — Hotel in Caldas da Rainha

Due to booking late we could only get a hillside view. However on arrival we were given a residence - Ericeira for 5 nights. This is a spacious apartment with a full length balcony with views of the lagoon and pool which is fabulous. The breakfast is also delivered to the suite and is fabulous. Thanks to Raquel for her great service when delivering and setting up the breakfast. We then moved to the Peniche suite which had a view of the lagoon from a shared balcony and the room was quite small. Our last room was the Obidos suite which was also a suite. This was the room which had the most spacious bedroom and bathroom and storage facilities but it didn’t have a view of the lagoon.|The pool and decor are just gorgeous and everything is new and beautiful maintained and there are lovely touches like bathrobes and slippers, water bottles, sweets and Ginja and tea and coffee making facilities. |Overall an excellent stay with wonderful staff, special thanks to...

We, a couple, had a very pleasant time at Hillside House. Check in and communication in general went very smooth. All facilities were clean and in excellent condition. We had the Pool and whirlpool for ourselves the whole stay. Our appartment was beautiful. It was clean and equipped with everything you need. It was cleaned during our one week stay including new towels and consumables. The owner and staff were very friendly and helped us with all our requests. The beach is in walking distance. Our room and the Pool area offered a stunning view over the valley and the lagoon. I consider the price a bargain for...

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights of our 10 day travel along the coast of Portugal, and this hotel was by far our favorite! Our rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was great, the view was incredible and so on. One of the nights we opted to have dinner at the hotel, which you must request ahead of time, and that too was exceptional! The food, waitstaff, and overall ambiance were so lovely. We also happened to have dinner on a night that they had really great live music. V, who manages the Hillside house, made us feel so welcome and truly made our experience that much better.
