Alamal River Club — Hotel in Gavião

Wow! We just returned from an amazing stay here. The hotel put us up at last minute due to our other accommodation cancelling and Alamal couldn't be more awesome. Big shout out to Vitor, who was incredible. So helpful, friendly and great personality making us laugh. His breakfasts were also gorgeous and the pastries to die for. Our room was lovely, large and overlooking the pool, then river. The location is fab. No traffic and quiet with a choice of the pool, or the river and beach. Brilliant for nature lovers. There is a beach cafe for food and drinks too if needed. Plenty to do in the area, many scenic walks. Nice restaurants and pretty villages to see. The castle that overlooks the river can be explored. Apart to be one of the most beautiful places that you can find in the Tejo river the most delightful in the hotel is the Staff (all the Staff!) - they are wonderful and professional persons that makes all efforts to you feel a very special person and not only one more guest!||The rooms have a wonderfull view either to the pool or to the Tejo river and in front of the hotel you have a beach river with support activities - you can make a boat travel or you can share some cayaque trip or just seat on the beach "... watching your time roll away ..."||You can lunch or dinner at the hotel - I recomend to taste the 1894 burger near to the hotel pool at the sunset with your favorite drink.||Go ... and try 3 or 4 days in the Alamal River Club hotel with all the magic of the Tejo river ... you will not...
