Hotel Eurosol Gouveia — Hotel in Gouveia

We spent the weekend in the Eurosol as a base to go playing in the snow in Serra da Estrela. This is the same a 3* hotel where we stayed some 20 years ago and it didn’t change much. The facilities show sign of the times but are well kept and clean. Rooms are small but ok for a short staying. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is nice with an interesting menu and good quality food. Overall, an average hotel, no luxury but comfortable enough for 1-2 nights and inexpensive. The rates are low and the rooms match the rates. This is the only place in town, but I think another hotel was opening up. This hotel is old but not a bad place to stay. Very well placed hotel in the center of Gouveia, right next to the cinema, with a great view to the valley.|The stuff members were friendly and competent, the room wasn't very big and all the hotel seemed like its better times had passed. The breakfast was ok. The cleaniness was very good, so was the climatization.
