This little cabin was the perfect getaway! Spotlessly clean, with a big, comfortable bed and a shower that has plenty of warm water and great water pressure – everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The breakfast was a highlight: generous portions of eggs, yogurt, homemade bread, cheese, ham… a delicious spread that really sets you up for the day.

You have your own space, like a private mini-cabin, with the owners’ house nearby and a parking spot right next to your door. There’s even a small terrace where you can sit back and take in the ocean views – really peaceful.

Several restaurants are close by too, from local cuisine to Italian pizza. Just keep an eye on opening days/times, but the owners are super helpful with recommendations if you need any advice.

Nous avions réservés sur booking mais nous n'avons pas pu y séjourner parce que notre avion a été annulé. La météo sur les Açores est très capricieuse et vous devez vous attendre à ce que cela arrive. Malheureusement, dans ce cas-là, les hôtes refusent tout remboursement, au motif que le logement est déjà préparé, comme si cette préparation n'allait pas servir pour les prochains visiteurs et que le prix de la nuitée se résumait à la préparation de la chambre. Sur booking, il était bien indiqué que l'annulation était payante, mais puisque le problème était indépendant de notre volonté nous espérions un peu de compréhension de la part des hôtes, même sans parler de remboursement complet, au moins proposer un tarif réduit. Enfin, notre avion arrivait le lendemain et ils étaient quand même d'accord pour que nous profitions du petit déjeuner le matin de notre arrivée, mais le logement est en fait assez mal placé sur l'île (ce qui est un autre point négatif), et ça n'a donc pas été possible.

En conclusion, nous ne recommandons pas ce logement. Nous laissons une note ici parce qu'à cause de l'annulation, nous ne pouvons pas le faire sur booking. Compte tenu de la météo variable dans les Açores, préférez un logement avec des conditions d'annulation flexibles ou des hôtes plus...
