What a lovely discovery on the beautiful island of Faial! Gem of a restaurant. The owners are extremely kind and fantastic cooks. The fish was the best I ate in the whole holiday, and they also have great vegetarian options, which is special on the Azores. Everyone pays 25 euros for the entire 3 courses, regardless of what you get. With the amount of detail, love and care that went into the food, they could have asked double the price and it would have been absolutely worth it. Big recommendation. We recommend reserving a table though, as it was quite busy. Otherwise you might have to wait a bit. :)

Worth to be noted: a restaurant owned by two guys, and free menstrual products available in the toilet. Setting a great example....

This was a remarkable experience. First of all: it's full vegan and bio, no available alcohol and only a suprise menu or some simple a la carte dishes. The incredibly friendly owner grows everything by itself or buys them at local farmers/neighbours and single handedly runs the place. We chose the suprise menu and yes it was a suprise. Every dish was unique and had an extraordinary taste which I never had before but each of them was delicious. The infused water/tea was also unique but actually good. A fantastic dining experience! A delicious selection of food that the chefs have clearly poured their love and souls into. Of our stays a few of the islands, this was hands down our favourite restaurant.

There was a fixed handcrafted menu that was filled with locally sourced food and had options between meat, fish, or vegetarian. Each meal (including starter, main, and dessert) is very reasonably priced.

The owners/chefs as super friendly, very accomodating, and extremely talented in their craft.
