Villa Machado — Hotel in Lagoa

We stayed here for 10 nights, the villa is nice and clean but some of the items in the villa are old and need to be updated (beds, balcony table, pool table & footy table to name a few) The double bed was literally foam on a poor wood frame which wasn’t very comfy at all. We only had one visit from the cleaners 5 days in who swapped towels but that was it, it would have been nice for them to have a little clean around too. The pool guy turned up mid afternoon on a really hot day to do the pool which meant we had to get out after been in for just 5 mins but other than that the pool was nice shame it wasn’t a little warmer and the filter not...

Some of the reviews for this villa are not accurate. The photos are of a different villa. We have just stayed in this villa and we were disappointed. The description on the website was not accurate. This villa was badly equipped and not easy to use with children. We also experienced flooded bathrooms on more than one occasion. We had trouble with the pump and filtration on the pool and not everywhere had been cleaned when we got there. This villa is lucky to get...
