Belch1952 — Hotel in Lagos

Update Unfortunately I need to make an update.

There is a problem with mold at Miguel’s place. We stayed in Belchior first and changed to Manuel because there was a lot of mold in the bedroom. Miguel cleaned it directly, but we couldn’t sleep there anymore since we came with a baby. Miguel did all he could to offer us the other apartment the next morning. But after a few days in the other apartment (Manuel) there appeared mold, too (not as much as at Belchior). I’m sure Miguel knows about the problem since he wasn’t surprised when we told him about the mold and came back instantly with the cleaner. I’d been happy if he had told us before, because he knew we came with a baby and it can be really dangerous. I guess he doesn’t have the problem in summer, but in winter I can’t recommend to stay there.

(Previous post) We‘re still at Miguel’s Place. We are here for 17 days in February and we love it! The flat is one of the best flats we’ve ever been and Miguel is definitely the best host! He’s trying to make you feel like home. When we needed help he always helped us directly - even in the evening. We first stayed at Belchior apartment and then at Manuel. I would recommend to stay at Manuel if you come in winter. It doesn’t have a balcony, but it has a better view. If you come in summer Belchior is probably the better flat since it will be cooler because it is in the ground floor and it has a terrace that spends shade (but every flat has a well working AC). We will come back if we can and highly recommend this...

The perfect accommodation in Lagos with the best host you can ever imagine. For anyone who is looking for a beautiful, lovingly furnished and modern apartment in a beautiful and absolutely quiet part of town - you have found it right here. The accommodation is exactly as seen in the pictures. Beautiful and super decorated. You live thanks to the location very quiet and with a beautiful view of Lagos, in addition, the city center and all the beautiful beaches of Lagos within 5 minutes to reach by car. If you come back from a day at the beach into your apartment, you can enjoy the view on the terrace and watch the sunset - truly perfect.

About the host: In the dictionary under the word "good hospitality" should be the name "Miguel". He is accommodating, helpful and as warm as a host can be. Through his nice and friendly manner, his helpfulness and last but not least of course his hospitality, you feel at home even before you arrive. Miguel is always helpful, responds quickly to all requests and offers you more than a lot of information about Lagos, the city center, beaches and much more.

I can only recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to have a wonderful time in Lagos.

Everything about our experience was absolutely fantastic! We stayed in the 'Belchior' apartment for five nights. First, Miguel's directions to find his place were easy to follow. He met us outside the apartment and showed us how to work the air conditioning, television, stove, washer, etc. Second, the apartment was spotless, spacious and perfect for us as a couple. You could easily fit a family of four if needed. Third, Miguel was a huge help with things to see/do in Lagos and to book tours. Though the apartment is a little out of town, it was only a 10 minute drive to downtown Lagos. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. Miguel went above and beyond in all aspects of our stay.
