This is beautiful and calm rural oasis with stunning hilltop views, just 10 minutes walk up the gentle hill street from the ancient town of Lamego. The huge twin rooms have not one but two desks and chairs, a fabulous private balcony with great beds and a pristine bathroom. It's an unusual set up, as the accommodation is within a modern Catholic Retreat and Work Project Centre. In the morning, people come to the learning centre, in a seperate wing. The host was very attentive, the room very humble but very spacious with a long balcony. The view was probably one of the best one can get in Lamego.
