Casa do Alto — Hotel in Loulé

Me and my fiancé, we both love this place. ||Its somewhere you can go and unplug from the world, no hustle and bustle. It's in such a lovely spot, set back from the main road so when laid round the pool its silent. bliss to relax. ||the lady's who run this place are great very welcoming and it truly feels like home from home when you're at the hotel. ||Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and to a great standard. ||Location you have to get a Uber / bolt from and too which costs anywhere from £5-£8 depending on times you want to get a ride. Takes around 10 - 12 minutes into the Marina. ||We upgraded our room when we checked in and we weren't disappointed the room was a great size, very clean, TV, enough hangers for clothes and a little fridge to keep things cool whilst staying. Bathroom was awesome his and hers sinks and a rainfall shower. The bed was SO COMFY! 1st stay at Casa do Alto & would return, great quiet setting, away from the hustle & bustle of the busy resorts, lovely pool & staff, who are very helpful with recommendations, good choices for breakfast & the fresh orange juice is lovely, we loved that we could order beers & wine, to drink by pool, which were a very good price, we had a comfort room, lovely big bed, a car is advisable, which we had, but we also used Uber, which is really cheap, restaurant RETIRO DO CAMPONÊS, nearby, was amazing

Observations - would be nice to have a kettle in room, (rather than having to get dressed, to go out to corridor & bumping in to other guests, when you've just woken up 😴 or late at night), breakfast was a bit slow a couple of times, the shower is big & lovely but the water runs out, into the rest of the bathroom, even though we were careful, there is no extractor fan or window in the bathroom, so was very stuffy in the bathroom & obviously steamy when showering, the bathroom door creaked really badly, so woke the other person up 🙂

This is a place we love coming back to again and again! A small, cozy hotel that has truly become a home away from home for our family—and our little dog. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure a comfortable stay.

One of the best parts is spending time on the lovely porch and spacious terraces while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Everything is always spotlessly clean, the service is wonderful, and the check-in and check-out process is smooth and well-organized.
