Ninho Saloio - Alojamento Local — Hotel in Mafra

Usually I don't write reviews but this place deserves one. It is located in small town near to Lissabon, Sintra, Ericeira and Mafra.

Ninho Saloio is really a magic place. Everything is very beautiful decorated here with attention to detail. In the yard you can find a swimming pool, deckchairs and other facilities to have a rest. They have also their own garden and animals what was a great attraction for our one year daughter. Owners and all people who work here are very engaged, helpful and supportive. They run this place with heart.

And during the breakfast you can find their heart on the table. We enjoyed every single moment in Ninho Saloio. We recommend this place to stay!

We were looking for a stay close to the Mafra palace and this lovely gem tucked away in Venda do Pinheiro, fit the bill. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was immaculate and the hotel is in a quiet area so we slept soundly. A hot breakfast is provided and the eggs are fresh from their chickens—yes, there are animals and a vegetable garden at the back of the property. I stayed here for almost 2 weeks in the bungalow rooms. The room was cozy and very comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty and with great selection and quality food. Many items are also homemade which is super! The staff is very kind, helpful and always with a smile. The surrounding space is really beautiful and very well taken care of. There is also parking.
