Pines of Salgado — Hotel in Nazaré

What an amazing place to stay! When searching we'd become a bit dispondent with options in this area through the usual booking platforms, nothing having quite the right combination for our stay with my mother and dog. We wanted a bit of luxury as we've been living in our van, to be close to the sea and lots of space but for less than a week. Then we stumbled across pines du Salgado on Google maps and were pleased we could book direct with Sandra & Maurice. Well this place ticked all the boxes and more. It is huge! Both inside & out, the views are spectacular, it's really well equipped, our dog has roamed free in the huge gardens, we've cooked, played table tennis & enjoyed the sunsets over the 360 degrees views. Sandra & Maurice have been really attentive, meeting us at the house to show us round, sending us tips of where to go. Well located with lots to do. Great that you can hire just half of it for a smaller group & we're already considering who we can bring back to rent the whole place. Our only slight downside was the bed was a bit hard for us but that's probably just personal taste. Thankyou for a great stay we wish we were...

Our stay at Pines of Salgado was a wonderful family experience. The property is beatifully located, decorated with taste and very well equipped. Bathrooms are modern, large and comfortable, kitchen and living room as well. Bedrooms have comfortable beds. It has a lot of space for a family and is great choice for all, who seek relax in nature or simply want to be in proximity of Nazare/São Martinho de Porto and have large family. It is a fantastic place for a vacation experience in proximity of Salgado beach, with a beatiful oceanview sunsets and glass of Portuguese wine in hand in cosiness of a rocking chair. It is surrounded by a spacious and very pretty garden with rustic patio ideal for family gatherings or even celebrations. It offers perfect scenarios for weddings, baptisms or even for photoshoots. We were welcomed by the hosts with a basket of local products. We will definitely come back and strongly recommend...

The perfect hideaway...away from the crowd. Beautiful, charming old house with all modern amenities, perfect kitchen, nice garden and outdoor facilities, wonderful views.Close to restaurants, to Nazare and Sao Martinho do Porto just a 10 min drive.The beach is beautiful, very few people, and just 3 min. by car or a 20 min. walk either along the little road or down the hill straight thru the surrounding nature.All in all : Just perfect for a few calm days or even weeks.... Unfortunately, we could just spent a couple of nights there from May 11 to May 17 , 2022. We certainly hope that we can make it again to this place! ...
