Gotas de Luar - Turismo Rural — Hotel in Odemira

We spent 5 days here. Beautiful facility and rooms. 5 min drive to the beach. Surrounded by little villages with great locally sourced food. Our host Gilda went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast is so delicious that we ate everything and than needed an hour of rest. Just couldn't resist all the goodness. Fresh fruit salad accompanied by orange juice squeezed at the time of our sitting. Range free eggs with freshest bacon I ever tasted. No wander it tastes so good as you can see around the animals are raised in stress fee environment and no chemicals in their food. |Toasted bread, home made cheeses, meats and vegetables. Home made muffins and jams - all this is breakfast. |The only thing I would like to see next time is wifi in the rooms and not only in common areas. I understand the reason behind not having wifi in rooms but it has to be a guest choice. |Highly recommend this...

We stayed at Gotas de Luar on a recent road trip along the western coast and what a find it proved to be. The hosts are Gilda and Samuel. We stayed two nights and would have loved to have stayed longer as Gilda is a most interesting and engaging hostess with a larger than life personality - and stories to tell ! The accommodation is in self-contained garden suites each with its own terrace. The setting is fantastic with amazing views and as Gilda says - 'a little piece of paradise'. Leisurely breakfasts are taken in the pagoda and are wonderful. The location is rural but with easy access to fantastic beaches, mountain walks and local restaurants. It was doubtlessly a great experience last August at Gotas De Luar B&B...||Feeling like this at one with nature.||A wonderful villa in the middle of the countryside, but not far from beaches (Praia Do Malhao for instance); very clean rooms, tastefully decorated, especially for the refined upholstered pieces and the tiles headboard.||Breakfast is served in a nice outdoors annex-place and everyday products are so excellent: you'll find yourself pleasantly surrounded by the crisp aromas of fresh fruits salad, orange juice, home-made jams and cakes, warm newly baked bread.||Besides sincere thanks to the lady who hosted us,whose genuine commitment to land preservation is very much...
