Beautiful thoughtful boutique hotel in a peaceful setting. Would love to come back! The staff were great and super friendly. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the beautiful outdoor dining setup and loved the home cooked dinner! Definitely a must. The decor is beautiful and I loved that they had fresh flowers everywhere, making it feel like I was at home. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable. Bathroom included all toiletries including a delicious perfume available for purchase. They also included an umbrella for the beach which was a really nice touch.

A recommendation for the owners, lighting in the bedrooms needs to be improved. The room was very dark and so was the bathroom. I like to read before bedtime and the lamps were really dim making it hard on my eyes. Adding lighting inside the closet is probably a good idea as it was hard to see at night with such poor lighting in the room. Also, love the idea of the honesty bar, however, the prices were high for Portugal and considering one is making their own cocktails prices felt unreasonable. This discouraged us from ordering or consuming anything and we preferred to go into town for drinks and lunch. Overall it was an excellent experience, we absolutely loved the hotel. We did feel the nightly rate was on the higher side for the area and...

The setting with garden and spaced out rooms (we were in Tanque) was idyllic and we liked the decor with vintage finds. However, the amenities and service was lacking. During our entire stay, water was not left in the room nor was there even a kettle.

There was always a housekeeper on site until midnight but it was difficult to communicate. I understand there are three English-speaking managers but we did not see any except one briefly upon check-in. Our laundry went missing and only reappeared clean late at night after much rigmarole. A email requesting a restaurant booking went unanswered - the excuse was that the email was received (it was sent at 1pm) at the end of her shift. Even if your shift ended this early, couldn’t the other two managers follow-up? There were questions about the invoice upon check-out. The poor housekeeper simply didn’t understand. Couldn’t the manager ask guests the day prior their estimated check-out time and make an effort to be there? There are only five rooms.

At 300+ per night, the ‘managers’ need to up their game and not rely entirely on the...

Our stay at this hotel was truly a moment of disconnection and an invitation to embrace the slow life. The decoration is tasteful and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Francisco’s hospitality was exceptional, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. Communication was seamless, and every detail was taken care of with great attention.

Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with fresh and delicious ingredients that made our experience even more special. If you are planning to visit the Algarve, we highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience! Merci...

My wife and I visited the Algarve for the first time, off-season which has given us more of a time to enjoy beautiful weather, the native Portugese people and the sea food. Even one day of a rainstorm was a treat to wash out the air and provide crispness to the countryside. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the food Maria provided just exquisitely prepared and presented. Rui, the owner/manager was friendly and knowledgeable of local history. Estelle was helpful at every little issue that came up. Just a great, stress free place to spend 3 or 4 days!

We traveled Portugal for 2.5 weeks and Hospedaria was my favorite stay. The suites are peaceful, relaxing, luxurious, and romantic. The property is beautiful. Sebastian, Alberto are wonderful and we got great recs on where to go in the area. Breakfast was really good and we opted for dinner one night - delicious!
