Great price/quality - fine for an overnight stop if using the airport! We stayed here after an evening flight from Norway into Lisbon airport. We were heading north the next day, so the location was perfect, some 20 minutes drive from the airport and on the main road north to Porto. We got a room (no 019) in the new part of the hotel. The room was big and modern (see attached phtotos). The beds are king size and extremely comfortable. Nice bathroom with the usual equipment. The continental breakfast was a little boring, croissants that were over cooked and some fruits, some cereals and not a lot else. Free parking is nice! (as we rented a car). Not a bad hotel, but nothing much to praise about it other than being very quiet and giving you a good night sleep. Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.

Rooms are fine but feel dated. Dinner buffet was not memorable. Breakfast was good. Standard fare. We also wondered about the kettle in the room but no cups, tea or coffee. Why? The hotel is difficult to get to from the Camino. Particularly on a bicycle. The room had a nice small balcony but we could not use it because the person in the room below us was chain smoking on their balcony and we had to keep the door closed to keep the smoke out of our room. Please make this hotel non-smoking. Also, very few electrical outlets and none near the bed.

Was on a tour and this is the hotel we stayed in for the night. The rooms are nice and spacious. Fully air-conditioned. The rooms are a bit outdated. The rooms feel very "orangey" because of all the room trims. The hotel is nice regardless. The continental breakfast provided was good. There is an Aldi and McDonalds nearby but it is kind of a far walk. Maybe 10-15 mins away. The hotel is tourist-friendly, and they do have English-speaking staff.

Very Poor Experience with Breakfast Staff – Extremely Disappointed

My recent stay at your hotel was deeply disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior and lack of basic courtesy from your breakfast staff.

To begin with, the hotel only provided a single bottle of water for the first night – despite a stay of five nights and a booking for six people. This already set a poor tone.

As a diabetic, I take medication (tablets) 30 minutes before eating. Each morning, I would go to the restaurant early to take my tablet, then return later to have breakfast. My wife, who does not eat breakfast, stayed in the room – yet we had paid for two breakfasts each day.

Despite this, on one morning, a staff member confronted me in front of my friends, accusing me of taking breakfast twice. I calmly explained that I took my tablet first and returned later for breakfast, and that my wife does not use her breakfast entitlement. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and refused to listen. It was extremely embarrassing to be spoken to this way in front of others.

On another morning, after sitting down and going to get my food, I returned to find my seat taken by another guest. I simply moved to another table. A waitress then came over and told me off, stating I couldn’t keep moving tables – as if I had done something wrong. Again, I was publicly reprimanded for no reason.

I raised my concerns with the manager, but nothing was done. No apology. No follow-up. Nothing.

This level of customer service is unacceptable – especially at a hotel that claims to provide a quality guest experience. The staff need to be trained in basic manners, cultural sensitivity, and how to treat paying guests with respect.

Very disappointing. I would not recommend your hotel based on this...

This is one to avoid, they do not provide milk or creamer for coffee in the room, after the first night you have to purchase any additional drinking water and when the temperature increases this can become a real issue.|Arriving after a five hour flight there was only ham and cheese sandwiches on offer at the bare, I had to wait until 7:30 to order some food to the room, then at 8:20 I had to find out why the food had not arrived (salled, meat and cheese) so no cooking needed; the excuse was the lift was not working, I was on the first floor. When it finally arrived the salad was shriveled up leave some tomato and processed ham and cheese. The plate of cheeses and meats was two rolled up pieces of processed cheese cut up processed ham and a small amount of salomi. I sent it back and ordered the burger that was edible.|I decided to try the restaurant and had stake that was recommended to have rare so I ordered it rare; rustic potatoes in herbs and salad; what I got was meat that was medium cooked and tough, boiled potatoes with no herbs and carrots that where mushy as if they had gone off before cooking instead of salad see photo.|This seemed to have been a good hotel at one time as there are remnants of what it has been but seems to have...

Hello I am writing this review to warn others who are considering to book with this hotel, don’t expect 4 star service as my experience was far from it. I had booked a double room expecting double towels, cups etc (what was listed in the room description) and I ended up with only single items, no tea nor coffee sachets and also told by reception you mow have to pay for it. (Last time I stayed it was for free.) The bar on the ground floor was closed due lack of staff, I was told to use the one in the basement however there was no one there to serve me the whole time; the sofas at the bar were torn up. As well as the patio area was completely trashed, dirty towels scatter everywhere, no tables or chairs, and the area was filthy. My room was backing on to a train line therefore waking us up during early hours. The view from my room was appalling as all I saw when I woke up was broken plastic roof tiles and all the electrical boxes. All you will receive in this hotel is a clean bed and nothing more, it should be closed to the public so it can undergo refurbishment and meet the standards of the customers. Here are some photos of what I...
