It’s always loud when people come in. Our room is literally next to the main house door. Don’t stay in Room 6. People were singing Indian songs until midnight and got noticeably irritated when you knocked on their door to politely ask them to stop singing—some guests are just downright inconsiderate of others. The room is right next to the main door. Everyone passes by here, and you can hear everything. It’s a house with multiple rooms. Our room had a makeshift shower and toilet covered by a curtain. They gave us Porto wine right when we entered, which was nice. The staff or manager was nice but only speaks Portuguese. There were no instructions at all, and the gate was locked, so we had to call him. What about other incoming guests who can’t make the call? We had to wait a few minutes outside the gate. There’s a nearby supermarket which was nice. You can use the fridge outside, right in the common room with other guests. The manager entered our room with his shoes on. We take off our shoes, so we found his action dirty. There are very bright lights coming from the door because there are holes. There was noise from other guests outside the door in the morning. People were ringing alarms nonstop. They should offer tissue boxes, but none of the hotels in Portugal and Spain we stayed in for two weeks offered tissue boxes. This is always offered in Japan. They did provide free water and coffee. Parking on the side of the road. The hairdryer sometimes work and all of a sudden not working anymore then it will work again.

É uma pena cada vez mais este tipo de estabelecimentos não tratar os portugueses como clientes , serviço prestado muito forçado e sem falar português , localização 5 estrelas

Ok the rooms I don’t know, I just went to get a drink but I must say the waiter Cris Silva… I don’t have words. In the future, when I get to talk about my experiences in Porto, I can literally say my time in Porto Cruz was one of the best in “Porto”. And maybe not even because of the AMAZING view there is there, but because of how Cris interacted with my boyfriend and me. His knowledge in wine and his carisma is just too much, my boyfriend and I were amazed by how comfortable we felt around him. He made us discover the amazing Cruz wine and as a persona that’s not a fan of sweet wines, he gave me a recommendation based on this and I LOOOOVED the ones he recommended us… So much my boyfriend and I left drunk from the place when we decided to enter “just for a glass on wine” ahahaha and we ended up having like 6 glassed each! 100% recommended and enjoy the Distinctive Port Dalva 2007 Colheita...
