One of the Worst Experiences I’ve Ever Had – Completely Mismanaged Stay
I stayed here for an important engagement event, and I can confidently say this was one of the worst hotel/resort experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was a disaster from start to finish.
First of all, nothing was managed properly. Every time I had a delivery—whether it was food, decoration, catering, or even my cake—I had to call the reception multiple times just to get them inside. My vendors were made to wait 30 to 40 minutes at the gate while I kept begging reception to let them in. This caused huge delays in the event setup and made everything extremely stressful.
I requested an oven at least 10 times—no one ever sent it. Every basic request took forever. And the worst part? The reception staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful. They clearly have no idea how to talk to customers. One lady at the reception was especially rude and dismissive. The only helpful person was Nicole—she was the only one who showed any professionalism.
Despite informing the hotel in advance that this was an engagement event, they failed on every level. Nothing was ready. Nothing was smooth. Even my car got a flat tire because of the construction going on around the area. Just unacceptable.
The management’s response? They brought up that I got a “special rate”—as if that justifies terrible service. News flash: many people get that rate. So bringing that up was meaningless.
This stay was not worth the money, not worth the stress, and not worth the time. My guests were disappointed, I was humiliated, and the entire event suffered because of the lack of professionalism here.

I was scheduled for arrival with my family after midnight, so I called ahead to make sure that my reservation would be available, and that my free upgrade to 2 bedroom would be noted so that my family and I could just get in and sleep. No such luck - apparently the person I spoke to didn’t make any notes. We got to the hotel around 12:30am but didn’t get situated in the correct room until about 2am. My family had to be up by 5am to fly out in the morning, so they barely got any sleep. I confirmed before sleeping that I could have a late check out the next morning and the person overnight told me I could stay until 6pm the next day. The next morning, I was informed that I need to leave by 4pm instead. I had to leave by 3pm for my flight anyway, So thankfully that was not a problem, But again, I was disappointed by the lack of organization considering the tier of hotel.
I did still give three stars because the breakfast was lovely, and the people were very kind. The accommodations were beautiful. The electronics did not really work very well, which is challenging when all of the light switches are electronic and don’t function perfectly, but it worked out fine. The master bathroom shower drained poorly and flooded the bathroom, so I informed staff of the need for maintenance when I checked out.
I think I would only stay there again if the price was the same as another Hilton Hotel. Definitely not worth...

This has made me genuinely worried, as I will be hosting an important gathering and want to ensure that both I and my guests have a smooth and professional experience.
I wanted to reach out directly to clarify what kind of service and support I can expect on the day of my event, and to make sure that your team is aware of the importance of providing respectful and reliable assistance.
If, however, the management cannot confidently guarantee that the service standards and treatment of guests will reflect a high level of professionalism, I would prefer to cancel my booking to avoid any unpleasant situation during my event.
