The view is amazing and the only reason this place is famous for is the beach. So just go there for the beach but don’t stay there. The services are terrible and you will pay for a meal even though it was incomplete. A lot of ingredients are missing and for example we asked for an italian salad but we received a summer salad because the italian ingredients were not in the kitchen, but we paid for the italian one. The people that are working at Gradia are relatives probably or they acted that way. At one point one young boy called Ciprian was driving the Jeep from Gradia and almost killed us on the road because of the high speed he was driving with. After we arrived at Gradia and asked one employee politely who is driving that car, the boy started to scream at me and then at my friends saying that we were driving with speed and we almost harmed him. He was screaming so loud that at one point we were scared he will hit us. His brothers defended him saying that he drives with 20 km/ hour always, so that there is no way Ciprian would drive with high speed. The problem is not that he lied and that he almost killed us, the problem is that none of his colleagues stopped him from screaming at us, even the old lady that was there ( the mother of the boy I assume) she was being little bit arrogant and accusing us but more gently than her boy. Both places that are near the beach ( Pensiunea Gradia and Pensiunea Lavinia) have the same owner based on what I heard and this explains a lot considering the similarities between the places( same problem in terms of food ingredients and poor services). The beach is owned by Pensiunea Lavinia and even though we stayed at Gradia and were told that we don’t have to pay for the beach chairs, once arrived there we were asked to pay 15 Ron for each beach chair. The funny thing is that some locals arrived there later on with their own drinks and paid nothing for their chairs. Kudos to one waiter called Alin and the cleaning lady. They were the only ones polite and...
